Oh! How wonderful!! They are so beautiful! Are they still coming around as much? I truly hope you’ve become real neighbors! I love how much hope and happiness they bring. All the best and thank you, from landlocked Bavaria. 😉
Wow Bob! Dan and Sophie and I just finished watching this incredibly moving film about our beautiful neighbours. Thanks you so much for creating this!!
Bob, this a wonderful video... Nice to stumble on your channel and see that you are enjoying nature and keeping active after the GSC... cheers, Otto & Monica.
Excellenti Thanks for educating. I too have seen them maybe 3-4 times in the last 2 yrs. So yes, I too believe that the clean up of Howe Sound has made them return. We have the herring fish back which I think is a part of their return. Thx Cindy
Hi Bob, I found your youtube channel by watching Jackie Hildering's posts with MERS and her own Facebook page "marine detective". I liked this video and really loved the one about the return of the Humpbacks to Howe Sound. I myself kayak out of Telegraph Cove twice a year and love seeing the marine mammals as you do. I also film my encounters with whales. I was wondering what kind of camera you are using, your videos are of a nice quality. I really respect your love of your environment. It shows in your narrative. Thanks, Mike.
Thank you all for your kind comments. I did want to correct a mistake: Raf Izdebski kindly provided his orca video for my use in the film. However, I misspelled his name in the final credits. Thanks Raf! Bob
You videos are wonderful Bob!
That scenery is absolutely stunning, I’m so envious.
Very well done!! Thank you for sharing and for caring enough to want to be a good neighbor to these magnificent beings!
Bob, you are still a teacher! Thanks for the wonderful videos you create to help enrich our knowledge about our backyard.
