I think people are forgetting what BloxFruits did is ILLEGAL, it's committing felony's in most states and or country's, and it directly breaks the Roblox T.O.S, It is stated if you have bought something before in a game that will give it to you either forever and or permanently you should be able to keep that item and or items, but it's also stated if they remove your item and sell it for a greater price and or a lower price, That will be breaking the Roblox T.O.S, which in this case, they did.
Luckily we can report them for scamming and abusive exploitation of their community. This is real money going missing because of them being such disgusting people. I already sent a report to force their hand and you should too
