THIS is what the American Community is having problems with when fighting more experienced Japanese players. After the first fight Daigo switched style and turned into joybin .... the difference between Daigo and Joybin is that Daigo is experienced enough to know when to use it. good fucking game Daigo.

McBibi, Yes, better decisions need to be made regardless of style. My point was that Daigo did not necessarily adjust during this match. It was an actual change of style. A 360 turn of the way he played the first match. The difference is that when you do something like that, it is a hit or miss... 50%/50% because you do not know how your opponent will react to it... if it didn't work out he would have been bodied. However in THIS CASE it worked out nicely for him. Again, you have to be experience enough to know WHEN to do it & know how to do it.

People trash talking ISDDs clothes, accent and vocabulary but at the end of the day its about the game and hes a good player no matter how he talks or dresses so whats the point in talking trash about him?

DerMeisterXZ ISSD has achieved a new level in SFV. Personally IMO, he is worked very hard on this game with the aim to be a top 10 player. His attitude is...but his gameplay and knowledge of the matches is spot on.
That’s why throws and being patient for whiffs are so important for fighting games it really helped Daigo Open Daddy Up it’s not all about offense STRATEGY is key
Good set, wish it went a bit longer though. ISDD was really limiting the amount of throws he was using in that last round because of daigo's tatsu game, would have been interesting to see how they would have adapted if it was a FT3

Last week Daigo occupied a qualifying slot based on points. When he won this tournament he then directly qualified and his prior slot opened up for another player. In this case, CCL.
