- Growing onion is easy compared to other vegetable in garden, if we take care of some initial planning and care. In this video, I am sharing my experience in growing onion in my dream garden in this season. I am not including many tips to grow onion, however this will give a idea to grow onion successfully in small area around one cent.
This video will give some idea about seed onion bulb, the state by stage growth and the total harvest details we can get in small area.

இப்படிதான் இருக்கிறது விவசாயம்
ஒரு முறை களை எடுத்த கூலி கூட மிஞ்சவில்லை

விலை பற்றி நான் பெரிதாக கண்டுகொள்வதில்லை. விற்பனைக்கு என்று நான் என்றுமே வளர்க்க நினைத்ததில்லை.
விவசாயிகள் நிலைமை இவ்வளவு விலை குறைவாக போகும் போது கஷ்டம் தான்.. உண்மை

வெங்காய சாகுபடியில் சின்னதாக ஒரு ஆலோசனை.
45 வது நாளில் காய் பிடிக்கும் பருவத்தில்- நீங்கள் சூடோமோனாஸ் தெளித்த தருணம்- பத்து லிட்டர் நீருக்கு ஒரு கோழி முட்டை (வெள்ளை கரு மட்டும் போதும் மஞ்சள் கருவை உணவுக்கு வைத்து கொள்ளலாம்) கலந்து தெளிக்கலாம்.
இதனால் இரண்டு நன்மை
2) வாழை மற்றும் வெங்காய பயிர்களின் இலைகளின் மேற்புறத்தில் மெழுகு போன்ற படலம் இருப்பதால் நாம் தெளிக்கும் மருந்துகள் வீணாக கீழே வடிந்து விடும்.
முட்டை சேர்ப்பதால் மருந்து இலைகளில் ஒட்டி கொள்ளும்
1) முட்டையின் வெள்ளைக் கருவில் புரோட்டீன் இருப்பதால் வெங்காயம் நல்ல சிவப்பு நிறமாகவும் காய் நல்ல திரட்சியாக இருக்கும்.
இயற்கையான வழிமுறைகள்.
இன்றும் விவசாயிகளுக்கு இந்த முறைகளை சிபாரிசு செய்கிறோம்.

I just harvested my onions. One of the more satisfying to harvest vegetables. Ennoda thotam (just 2 raised beds of total 48 sqft) and I raised red, yellow and white onions in just one bed. If they are dried well they can actually last more months (at least here in the US). Congratulations on your aruvadai! One day hope to have a chance to visit you & your kanavuthottam!
