Pharcyde - Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde 1992 Buen tema, estos cabros son los medios liricistas, cantan bien, buenas pistas, este con el runnin y el drop son los mejores temas para mi!
Last dude definitely had the best verse. Multi-syllabic rhymes and all. This is a great song overall that exemplifies Hip Hop's versatility and ability to touch on broader subject matters such as rejection and insecurity while simultaneously shattering the myth that all of 90s Hip Hop was rough and gangsta.
Yeah,Stellas lupus.I have tried to listen to some of the mainstream stuff of today. A lot of it is just average overall.I hear the effort in the production.but you can hear the overall effects of commercialism. Imagine how it went years ago.A DJ would play a record and then ask people to call in or vote yes or no,play it again. The phone's would light up for the request of this new hot artist or record. Now,these stations just play it over and over force it on you. They have tricked many people.
I miss the 90's HH music...so many different beats & rhymes to choose from and rock to. Not like today where most of the so-called rap sounds the same, like straight garbage. This is a classic!
the last dude has the dopest verse of the entire song.. i relate to him the best and he just honestly was the most lyrical.. best rapper of the group hands down
Pharcyde explained how they wrote this song, it's all in the books *HOW TO RAP* and the sequel called *HOW TO RAP 2*. This is one of the things Bootie Brown of Pharcyde said in them: "On “Passin’ Me By,” my verse actually came off a cassette tape that I did in a studio. I didn’t go to the big studio and then rerecord and it was all great, I went to the big studio and tried to rerecord and people were like, “Nah, that’s not the same, it doesn’t sound the same!” And I was like, man, I don’t know, I don’t know, and they were like, “Man, we’re just going to use the one off the cassette - that sounds best,” and that’s the one that I used."
See she's my type of hype and I can't stand when brothers tell me.. That I should quit chasin' and look for something better.. But the smile that she shows makes me a go-getter. I haven't gone as far as asking if I could get with her.. I just play it by ear and hope she gets the picture. This is my song right now.. True story.
does anyone happen to know who is the actress that plays Shelly in the video. just wondering because she is horrifically similar to a friend of mine 😂😂😂

Man. I do miss the 90's. I was too young to really enjoy them as I was born in 92. Why can't rap/hip hop be like this?!?!

Stellar lupus - A lot of people today have been dumbed down and do not even know it.
I 1000% agree hence the expression, ''It's easier to fool someone then to convince them they been fooled''.

This is Hip-Hop. This is what is missing in todays artists. They have no soul. No heart and no passion. This is a great clean hip-hop classic.
