Hello. Would you like to know where to buy a RUBI scoring wheel? What city and country are you writing us from? You can find more information on our scoring wheels here www.rubi.com/en/scoring-wheels-for-manual-cutters-f106
It will shatter 20mm porcelain tiles. I’ve tried it today. It will not consistently cut along the score and the 1200 LG force will shatter the edge near which you’re pressing the handle
Sorry to hear the cut didn't work out the way you would hope. Can you tell us what material you were cutting? The type and quality of the tile has a lot of influence on how it separates.
Our previous comment was meant to collect information to potentially help you. We didn't intend to frustrate you further. If you comment here with the city and country you're writing us from, as well as a form of contact such as an email address or phone number, one of our commercial representatives can get into contact with you and help you more efficiently. If you don't want to leave your contact information here, you can contact us at social@rubi.com
Let's see if we can figure out why you're not having success in these cuts. Are you marking the tiles three times? Are you marking hard enough? What scoring wheel are you using?

I have the 1250 version of this cutter Very disappointed in it there is too much flex between the bed and the top bars. Very difficult to get consistent quality cuts. The top bars flex upwards when the pressure comes on especially when you are trying to cut small narrow strips on 600 mm tiles when you need to put pressure on both ends of the tile for a clean snap Terrible design
Hello John. You should always separate at the end of the tile that is closest to the rotating square, because this is where the cutter has the most strength. The TX-MAX should not flex if you separate in this area; it's one of the strongest cutters on the market. If you follow this advice and the machine continues to flex, you should check if your cutter is still under guarantee and talk to our technical service team.
I did speak to the Republic of Ireland rep Richard he came and had a look at the tile cutter and he was blaming that the tiles that they are now being producing are too strong. The first couple of tiles he tried cut broke he was then swapping in and out different cutter heads but there was no consistent quality cutting. He did not offer to take back to cutter I have no sold IT and it will be the last Ruby product I will buy.

I just spent over $1,000 on one of these and it didn't come with a manual or any instructions of any kind. All I'm left with is some guy from the United Kingdom and a 5 minute video that I had to go find. I think this sucks a thousand bucks you can't even throw in a manual that's pretty chickenshit. Now I can't start the job I'm going to have to call Rubi on Monday morning and go through that whole bunch of BS. Have you seen their website oh my God it's another endless stream of BS. If Rubi would spend half the time on support and instruction as they do on sell sell sell maybe they have more customers but at the moment they're just saying by it and figure it out for yourself I'm pissed. Guess they have enough customers oh well screwed again.
Hi Danny Lee. Can you tell us where you are located and where you bought the cutter? Also if you can give a phone number that would be helpful too, so that one of our sales reps can contact you.

Hello. It sounds like you might be pressing down too hard when you score. Try scoring more lightly.
I tried it on 20mm porcelain and it broke every tile I tried to cut.
Sorry to hear the cut didn't work out the way you would hope. Can you tell us what material you were cutting? The type and quality of the tile has a lot of influence on how it separates.
@@RUBITools it was porcelain. Your website says ‘for all types of ceramic and porcelain.’ Beware everybody it seems that claim might not be true.
