Got one of these Teles, and need to adjust the string height at the bridge. Can' figure what size allen wrench fits the bridge adjustment mechanism. It's very small; have many of these wrenches, but can't find one to fit. Appreciate it if someone could tell me. tks.
It makes sense that they have to be made that way: ie: it may not be something you can do yourself! Adjustable pole pieces have a thead so the insert (whatever it is called) has to be threaded. Slug (plain coils are not threaded so neither is the bobbin/insert it fits into. I'm only guessing but hat makes sense to me. You will have to Google it. Victor :)
Very nice piece. I own one of these and I must say that it has had quite a problem with a shorting noise, have tried to resolve the issue many times. What I really wanted to say, is that you are the only person to give a review on this guitar and brought out a very important con to this guitar and that is the fact that one of the most important sounds that a Telecaster makes is the sound with the bridge pick-up and the neck pick-up, which you cannot do on this guitar. Very disappointing.
Hi Charlie... I don't think it's an actual con but I do think it's an oversight! I would like to find a way to also enable a bridge / neck combination; one way would be to install a bridge on/off switch which can be used in any position meaning you could select neck pick-up alone then cut the bridge pick-up in via a switch or toggle. I will look into that. Victor...
Hi Victor, Thanks for your reply. I have a Fender Players Strat that has that switch that you are talking about. It has a push button switch that you can push and when the pick-up switch is in the neck position, you can push the button and it will activate the bridge pick-up along with the neck pick-up and get the sound that I'm talking about. Also when you put the p/u switch in the neck and middle position with the button down, it will play with all three pick-ups. I had called Fender to suggest that they do that with with the Tele, but, the tech that I talked to didn't seem too interested. Me, I think it would be a great seller. I really like my Player Strat and the sounds that it produces. With it I have both a Tele and a Strat in one guitar. The player Strat does not have the Fishman pick up on it, which I like on my Deluxe Nashville Tele.......I've just discovered your site. I will be watching more. Thanks again, Charlie
I don't get that the tele mid position is not there, But, add a 5-way superswitch (if there is room enough) and you're back in buisness :-) I have this combo on most of my Stratstyle guitars. I rarely use the mid pickup alone, and find the Bridge-neck combo far more useful, especially for rhythm clean and dirty ;-)

Damn I've been looking for one of those power teles.
Can you tell me how can I put adjustable pickup poles on a stray style pick up? What are the sleeves called that the poles go into?

what is the price for a mint condition one?
I don't know...
Excellent video. I would love to know if there`s a way to adjust the Peizo pups. One of my strings has a noticeable volume loss.
I doubt there is. Victor...
@@FretFriendGWaL Rats!!! Thanks for the quick reply.

It's a pretty simple mod to add a switch or a switching pot to allow you a setting for the bridge and neck. It's often called a "Gilmour" mod.
Great video. Where are from? Somewhere between Chesterfield and Nottingham? Do you fit bone nuts and saddles?
Nottingham and yes :)
