To the young person, please do not let the world change you as you grow. You showed your character by not jumping out of that truck and slamming it's door, but had respect for other's property. You showed your character by being soft spoken and a willingness to help the person following you. By trying to ethically hunt even at your age. With all that you had to trek through noise, I'm surprised you managed to get as close as you did before they got alerted. How you waited instead of just firing off arrows until you were sure to get a kill shot. I'm very proud of you.
Like I said on yesterday's video, keeping it real like your slogan is what keeps most of us coming back. Including the mess ups is important in the learning process and I am glad that Coop can learn from them. Happens to the best of us.

Just had a weekend like this in Kentucky im 14 and trust me I feel you pain I thought mine was dead for sure after having a complete pass threw with good blood on the fletchings and a good blood trail but we went after him the next day and he took off out of his bed like nothing happend

You need to teach that young feller to stay calm after the shot and stay focused on the deer until it is out of site or bedded in view. Learned that lesson the hard way.

There is no void, but there is a “no mans land” or “no zone” it is actually above the spine and below the top of the back.

Even in "no mans land" wouldn't there be some blood? I did that before to a doe and had good blood for 50 yards, bright red muscle blood.
