I read the book and the sequel just a few weeks ago and I really loved it. I'm a queer person, but while I was reading it I hadn't thought about that it could be a queer story (except for a few chapters). But it is a very nice way to interpret it :)

Hey Chandler, I suggest to read the book the movie is based off, because the story isn't about the girl that falls in love with A, but about A's life as themselves, it's from A's POV, they talk about their childhood, how they viewed the world, the adventures and sad moments, and one day A meets Rhiannon, and they fall in love with her and they also talk about how they've fallen in love before, but this time they decide to tell the person the like and from then on the adventure begins. This book brought me so much feels that I think before you go watch the movie you should read it :3

It seems like it will be so interesting as a film, since in the book, you see everything from A's internal perspective as they wake up each day in a different person's body, but in a visual medium, you'd almost necessarily see who they wake up as before you necessarily see them, even if by a fraction of a second. I could see the book and film really complementing each other in a way that can't really happen with most adapted works, in showing us the depth of identity formation, if that makes sense. Sorry, waxing (queer) English major here. ^^'
I remember coming across this channel a few years ago and thinking that really cool that they can be whoever they want. Now one of my best friends is not being accepted as being transgender (girl to boy not that it’s relevant). I want to know as his friend what can i do to support him. I respect the fact he doesn’t want to talk about it.
I, too, got really excited when I saw that trailer. I never watch youtube commercials to the end, but this one... I just couldn`t stop it. The first thing that came to my mind was ”this explains pansexuality perfectly!” and I was so happy to see how strong their love is. I also wanted to mention that I love your videos very much and you inspire me, so keep going!

This movie looks amazing. I just don't understand one thing: Where do the consciousness of these people go when the protagonist "takes over" their minds and bodies? Can they consent to anything the protagonist does? Is it OK in the movie's universe that the protagonist uses these bodies with no permission from their original users and to do things they wouldn't normally do or wouldn't like/want to do?
Dose the person have the same parents every time they wake up a different person and they just look different or do they wake up a completely different person
Hey I know this is random but what was your starting dose of Testosterone? Was it low? Or regular? Cause mine is pretty low right now (30 mg) because I am only 15 years old and we will slowly increase it over time. But yeah I just wanna get a feel for what other people have😂 thanks :)
Hayden Roth it'll always start out low because Testosterone can have some dangerous but rare side effects so your endo has to gauge how well your body handles it, especially when you're still going through wrong puberty. At your age, cis boys have lower testosterone too so it's accurate. If you take too much testosterone, it can convert to estrogen which is a real nightmare.
Vernon Hardapple don't lie like that, they don't always get better. Sometimes it's worse because as an adult. You realize you can't just beat up the kid who bullied you until they all shut up or hack their social media to intimidate them. Instead, you're stuck with getting kicked off trains because you asked the conductor to apologize for misgendering you or someone who was harassing you on the subway decides that he didn't like it when you called his ass out and decided to throw a punch at you or maybe you just live in a state that won't let you amend your birth certificate. These are all very real problems. Even though it doesn't always get better, it will be different. People will always hate on people who aren't like they are. You'll never live without hate and discrimination; you'll just get better at accepting ignorance in others and dealing with it.
I maybe lost........ but can't you use pansexual in exchange for queer. Some would maybe use the term bi....... but like I said I have not an inkling of this term...... I now date myself....... because of the fact that when I came out as bi and then lesbian....... queer and pansexual weren't used. I am so sorry to hear about your struggles with coming out both with your sexuality and I maybe wrong...... your gender identity. But I a glad you have found yourself
