I haven't looked into this $350 pc, but I warn you, arma 3 is very difficult to run and I doubt a pc of that price will run it.

Maybe. Arma 3 optimization is so spotty that it's hard to tell. At times I get 60 fps and at times I get below 20. I know someone who has a 970 and has trouble running it.

I always wondered why ARMA allows for 3rd person when all they try to do is champion realism.
Also why do people just get seriously wounded and not killed? Is that a mod? I have ARMA 2 but I played like a bit of DayZ with my friends and then only played campaign.
It allows 3rd person because it gives you more of a sense of your environment.
It sort of makes up for not being able to use any other sense instead of sound and sight because it is a game

So I got a bucket of pop corn and 2 litres of Dr Pepper and sat down, hopefully, to watch DD's premier of "Run Silent, Run Deep" featuring characters similar to Clarke Gable, Burt Lancaster and Brad ( can I use that name here ) Dexter. Started out OK but soon became like Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay, still very entertaining and professional wherever possible. Great Posting yet again !
Just LOVE the real high pitched far away pops the guns make, make it 100000 times more realistic., And scary! Dont know where its gonna come from.

This game loses it's immersion factor when played in 3rd person.

These soldiers are REALLY good for night operations because they blend in with the dark completely when properly equipped with all-black equipment.

It's a full-on simulator, yes, there is, and there are also ballistics, wind simulation, and a massive collection of stances and movements that allow you to pretty much move around like it's real life. The only feature I wish existed in that, would be the middle finger. So I could give it to you.
Me and 29 other guys signed up for gods know what squadren. We where told for the Navy Seal experience. My friend who signed up for the same squadron as me was (still is) coast guard. He had done the hours of trading water, zip lining, a bit of shooting. (Wasn't a lot it was something his CO got mad at him about so made him take a few shots)We dropped 1200 yards off randavoo in the cold ocean water scooba gear and all. This was all at 11:00 pm we had started. We got to randavoo and it was bad. Our recon got fucked when we were just 300 yards out. Then we had 3 para jumpers after we hit randavoo they where coming down then we got ambushed. We killed em receiving little fire as they had wasted a majority of their ammo on recon. This is all using rubber bullets so they still hurt. We moved and flanked their right side with airsupport only able to provide smoke. We smoked em then flanked and we won. That's how you do it.

T90 Type A was actually first rolled out early 1990s.The time the Soviet era collapsed.The Type B has been released since then & there is multiple variants (T-95?) now as well.It can fire ATGMs out of the rifled barrel (Abrams has a smooth bore meaning it relies more on computers & "smart" munitions to maintain an accurate shot) & has an engagement distance on par with the Challenger 2 & 1km further than the M1A3 Abrams.It is less fuel hungry than the abrams too,US tankers complained about that
I approve of watching that. That's called teamwork... something many cod players know nothing about, and thanks to 343 something many halo players barely heard of. This is how a team should work besides getting killed.

True, true. Forgot about that. Not used to seeing an (as far as I believe) from origin infantry branch of the military to have it's own jets/attack helicopters. Goes very different in my country.

Personally I like 3rd for nothing more than being able to see how badass I look. I agree that first person only would make it more realistic and change up combat, but I really like looking at my character.
how did you get the artillery interface up? im in the showcase where you have support, but no matter what button i press it wont open.
the underwater world is amazing!!!! I have never played a game where i came really fight underwater and at the same time feel so Real!!!
Love your videos man, have you ever had trouble with using a joystick in this game where it resets your controls during gameplay? Every time i change any settings or use my Logitech Joystick it will reset the controls.

hey, just wanted to ask about doing an arma 3 mission together sometime? also, where do you find your missions? or do you make them? I figured you find them, since you don't seem to know where anything is
because it is soething different and has so many things going for it.
and that comes from somebody who played in a bf2.national lineup 4 times and won 4 out of 4 as well as my clan ranked 2nd in europe during the bf2 days. arma is horrifyingly hard to get into but still it holds nuff motivation left for an old fart like me to try to get comfi with it.
that said i preordered bf4 and will play it for its infantry and tank action. the aerial part got way 2 arcadised in bf3 from the getgo.

the Challenger 2 (UK's current MBT) we never lost a single one, the worst that happened to the challenger was a damaged gunsight and it was straight back into action within 24hrs and it saw just as much action
it's a mil-sim that allows people to either plan out their own tactical missions with a squad of AI buddies, or just goof around with friends by turning themselves into a bunny!

True, but most times the third person won't matter. Most of your engagements are going to take place a few hundred yards away, especially in multiplayer. It's fun, and even with the third person I recommend getting it.

Why do people complain about them taking the game realistically? I like it! I think it makes the video more cinematic, and intense. If you really don't enjoy the way they play THEIR game that they payed for in the video that THEY made then why don't you go make your own, and post it, or go watch anyone other youtuber. actually you have 2 to 10 degrees of field vision,the rest is peripheral vision,and it is blurred unless you look at that spot

that was the crew, not the tank its self...it could just be taken back and ether overhauled or just scrapped for other uses...but also I was talking in comparison to tanks such as the T-90 and T-72 that were common competition to the tank

Where needs to be an "OH SHIT!" running animation where you drop your rifle (or let it hang by its strap) and do a mad dash in one direction, allowing for a fast run to get from point A to point B very quickly, only if used for an extended duration or going up/downhill will cause stumbling, blackouts, and or extreme exhaustion causing you only to be able to crawl.
