Still dislike the recruitment focus system over the old system. For instance asked my scouts to find a striker with 4 star potential. They didn't bother recommending Moukoko, found him in the "progress" screen but he never made it to recommendation. Bloody insane. And yeah this is I think since fm 22 but not having the option to separate out stuff like work permit for the rating is super annoying. It also effects star ratings.
totally wrong jake wonderkid recruitment 15 16 17 year old wonderkids have no current ability yet so dont set it to 2 star current ability make it 5 white stars now u miss out on 95% of the youngest wonderkids TOTALLY WRONG
You can sign them and loan them somewhere else on the continent to get experience and they will start to qualify for a permit. It’s very useful for youth players
i go from fm 22 to fm 24 so i am very confused in fm 22 i used to send one of my scouts to scout wonderkids in turkish u19 youth teams and it worked super fine i used to get lot of reports now it looks like we cant do that anymore just select your player style he will look where ever he wants to look
Don’t put too many objectives on your search best is to have it ongoing so your scouts have more time especially helpful if their adaptability rating is low
For top/elite clubs, is it best to send more than one scout for anything and several analysts. On paper you expect quicker/more results one would assume, is that the case here? Or is it specifically beneficial in areas like "top priority" rather than standard or ongoing? Great vid as always jake!
Anyone else having their scouting budget used up super fast? I'm managing in Gibraltar, and have a scouting budget of £3.9k. My scouting range is the Gibraltar Football League, at a cost of £300 p/m, so £3.6k in total. But they managed to use up all the budget in THREE WEEKS. And I'm baffled as to how. I have "keep scout reports up to date" turned off on the shortlist page. In my recruitment focuses, it's set to Gibraltar. But somehow my scouts keep suggesting players outside of the league, like from Hungary, and Brazil (Definitely not the intermediary suggestions either). I just can't figure out how or why they're doing this, or how to stop it, aside from removing all my recruitment focuses.
I think your scouts are booking themselves into the Ritz and eating Lobster Thermidor every night. They aren't sleeping on a park bench like they did in years gone by....
It’s looks like some scouts I like to sign have disappeared??….ie Eric Abidal and radu Banicu and a Portuguese vitor can’t remember his surname he was also a recruitment analyst as well!!. Does anyone know why they are not in fm24??

Problem is in England there is something called work permit which causes many to not be able to come to the team.
You can actually filter for players likely to get a work permit when filtering through your player search!
You can sign them and loan them somewhere else on the continent to get experience and they will start to qualify for a permit. It’s very useful for youth players
@@614showtime Not anymore. You have 'X' amount of ESC places. You don't get the option to sign a player to then loan him out.
I think you should do a top 20 picks of players based in Africa and another for Asia, a mix of young guns and bargains like Nwosa.

In my save they are free agents. Maybe you have select small database and the game didn't load them?
