One of my all time favourite games. The storys is amazing. Visuals gorgeous and the music is absolutely beautiful. I’m not sure I can find the words to describe it. No one I know has played this (despite my best efforts) so to find this very well put together review has been very very cool. I’ve played through it about 3 times now and I’m still finding new things. The story is sad and beautifully brutal in places, but its one of the best games ever. Cannot believe more people have looked over it
Just replayed this game for the first time since my initial playthrough in 2016. It certainly hits differently after the pandemic. Its such a haunting, sad, yet incredibly beautiful game. It very much stands apart as a truly unique experience. Thanks for this amazing video, i think you really did the game justice
This is one of SO MANY games that STILL hold up to this day even after a decade. The graphics, atmosphere, story, "characters." So many indie/smaller developers do a better job of craftin stories n worlds than AAA studios. Love games like this. 😊
Beautyful! Very nicely put together. There are but a few discussions of this game, that are really worth watching. And yours is one of the good ones. I am very much in love with this game since it came out. Beautyful! Just beautyful. Thank you so much for putting this up. ❤
Thank you so much for your lovely words! I agree there is so much to talk about with this game but I can never find anyone who's played it! I replay it just for the beautiful scenery sometimes ❤️
Great to see a well presented and articulated review on this very much 'missed' game. Playing the game filled me with nostalgia. Why? I can't say as i wasn't raised in a quaint English village. I think because the game is set in UK, seeing the old red telephone boxes & other nuances makes a change to the usual USA based games. Interestingly, your perspective on who you play as, made me think about my playthrough. I felt i was visiting as another of the light source, and seeing what has become of 'my species' work in helping (for want of a better word). The game is relaxing and immersive with some genuine revelations. The recording from the summer camp hall was pretty harrowing.
I gotta say ii enjoyed your opinion of this game and its meaning, I really love this game for its awesome Beauty, the sound is breathtaking and i enjoy watching the memories as I walk around the village and countryside, Ya know what's funny? The numbers on the Radio's, i've watched a lot of streamers convinced those were really, really important in the game with possible hidden meaning then you say in your video the numbers at the end actually have a meaning, awesome discovery. 😲 👍
Just finished this game on my channel, what a ride. I was a bit sad about the end at first, it is you need to figure out yourself what the story is all about. After some time it was all ok. I kinda get the idea. I did from the start think we where playing Kate, but then I changed at we where playing those we saw the memories from , like Frank in one chapter. But them came the end and oh well maybe we where Kate all along, make sense. Your video is really nice. I do not understand the radio and TV codes, or if they at just train numbers?
I think what makes this game so special is just how much of it is open for interpretation and also I found my views changed when I played it a second and third time. So glad you liked the review and it's interesting to hear your perspective 😊
Truly a tear inducing game.
Great review btw.
Thank you, glad you find EGTTR as powerful as I do!

Honestly, most of my favourite games are from smaller studios. It's such a shame when they don't get the love (or financial support) they deserve

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed my video. Your take on player character is really interesting and I'll have to look into it more 😊

So glad you liked it ☺️ it's such a great game and you can really go down the rabbit hole trying to work out extra meanings!
