I would love to see you cover spider mites as a tomato plant issue. That seems to be the only problem I have every year. But I haven't found a solution yet.
Each issue offers many similarities but also a few distinctions to help identify the exact issue. Bacterial spot causes raised black spots surrounded by a yellow halo that eventually scab over. Bacterial speck is less destructive with much smaller scabs that rarely penetrate the skin and can be scraped off with a fingernail. I hope this helps!

It could be something as simple as sunscald to the beginnings of a bacterial disease. For further assistance in diagnosing the issue, please send a few photos to our questions site: questions.gardeningknowhow.com/
When older tomato leaves begin to turn yellow that is usually a sign of nitrogen deficiency. I would add a layer of compost around the plant or supplement with a good fertilizer.
Septoria leaf spot is best prevented, not cured. If this is a common occurrence in your garden, perform a spray cycle with a fungicide containing chlorothalonil, copper, or mancozeb.
