the problem with a tier list is that fact that what really matters in a fight is skill. Combos change depending on how skilled you are, and that changes what characters you use. Garou for example has a lot of techs that make it really strong for pros, and having a counter is not to be overlooked.

He also has the worst awakening in game (would easily be top 2 in the past), he just got nerfed too hard while other classes got buffed too hard, while Saitama keeps on his medium-term.
edit: Garou basekit is pretty powerful in ranked and against crowds, he has one-shot combos, lifesteal and crowd-control, along with a weird af m1 hitbox that if you are playing in 1-50 ping in your region, you are going to absolutely smash decent players from other regions.
I'm in the right to say that, since Garou players can hit you through your blocks and if they are facing towards the opposite direction, if you are not playing in a server that has a support for your region, like in South America.
To explain that better, Garou m1 hitbox has the longest arch in the game, also having a fast m1 with a better stunlock than the likes of Sonic and Metal Bat. That explains why there is so much ping inconsistency with Garou players than other classes.
Garou should be ranked up to 2nd due to mostly his m1 being great at every occasion. It's just too easy to land it.
(his awakening is still the worst in the game, since it can be regular countered totally by Atomic Samurai basekit, can be stalled by Genos and Sonic players, and Saitama is the best counter for Garou basekit even if he doesn't have notable counters against the awakening (Saitama has less windows for Garou players to use Prey's Peril + his m1s are the quickest in the game)
the thing about awakenings is that you can just not use them. Oftentimes I find I can easily beat ultimates even without ultimate. Most of the ultimates are slow. Ones like sonic can be dodged relatively easily.
Two things I hate about Metal Bat is that he can't be punished when you block literally any of his m1s or front dashes, and the fact that his ult bar fills up too fast because of his damage passive, and you know how unfairly OP his ult is.

I agree with the whole issue of the tier list, some characters are better than others depending on how they are used or how powerful they are, the thing is that with garou you would have put it as a small parenthesis to talk about their combo capacity ( whether easy or difficult) knowing that he is one of the characters with the best combos and with a lot of damage (compared to Saitama or Genos who have absurd damage)
Thing is, garou mains refuse to believe sometimes that they are the problem, not just the character they're up against. The main problem here is the fact that garou had been so mainstream that he wasn't that OP to begin with, it's the developers that caught on to how mainstream he was and ultimately decide to nerf an already mediocre character
I second this, (formerly)me and many other Garou users had the convoluted idea that BECAUSE there was so many good Garou users, Garou itself had to be good. that viewpoint is flawed. He was very mainstream(as you said) as he was the second character to be made. He only has a few things noteworthy, his large combo potential, his rapid m1's , and his counter. Garou is not bad if you use him right, quite the contrary, but that same thing applies to all characters.@@swiftwind3795

im a former garou main and i honestly agree. attacks are wayyy to closed ranged, and for the moves that block break, you cant even start a combo with it (flowing water sends them far enough to not be extended, hunters grasp sends them further if they are standing up). and the ultimate used to be all right, but the developers kind of ruined it since he almost has no Iframes.
While he is close ranged, he has a counter to fight long range, and you can use either side dashes or a normal one to close the distance. And flowing water can be extended with by using lethal whirlwind or hunters grasp. And hunters grasp DOES throw them back further while standing, but not the case for when they're ragdolled. You can extend with a dash, side dash into m1s, or m1 while the move is being used. You've obviously never mained garou before if you don't know the basics of his mechanics.

Id say garou is a tier above, the thing you mentioned about the ult is understandable. They nerfed him a lot after getting rid of his i frames. But for regual garou all his Moves are quite Quick and you become invincible when you hit someone. Very useful in a 2v1 situation

Pro tip: you can (technically) block straight-on, it will still do damage but not as much and you don’t get stunned.
everything in this list is sorta agreeable except sonic, hes so slept on its crazy. his moves are blockable, yes, but theyre also fast so you still have to hold block alot, making you an easy target for m1 fishing. also his scatter is an unblockable combo starter, you can side dash at the end to get behind the opponents bloxk

Sorta agree and disagree on this one, fought 2 sonics in ranked and one of them was absolutely garbage where they had to runaway and wait till I attack, they were pretty easy to adapt so I won the right, the other one however was actually good (prob an alt account) didn't runaway, had good combos, and knows how to use an ult, ig it really depends on how good your movement and experience with it
honest this is the best tier list i’ve ever seen finally acknowledging how hero hunter is so easily to dodge you got a sub
I'd say Metal bat's base is pretty versatile; It's not good or bad, it's just alright but it's pretty slow. The base would put it as the worst class but the ultimate and passive carry it to low A in my opinion. I mean, a one shot counter where if you miss does a huge AOE that deals 50%, then there's the 3 other extremly useful moves that flow with eachother like a water current
I hate how some of the moves are almost unescapable even though your like a feet away it still lands.

Genos has 3 passives but the 3rd is kinda useless unless if your bad at doing it. First is the ragdoll cancel blast, moves reset, and the final one is the boost on uppercut.
In my opinion the garou base moveset is pretty good to make you learn how to play aggressivly, since you have to be close to your opponent its the best character to use when you need to learn how to side dash behind them or just overall use the side dash properly, the only thing that makes garou mid is the ultimate, the ultimate moveset should have a complete rework of every single move cause all of them suck
I say bring the I frames back for the ult, or
Make the 2nd move rechargable with a small damage nerf.
OR make the 3rd move a big move aswell that can hit Geno's during incinerate.
I think they should buff the hitbox of Final Hunt and Crushed Rock.

Personally, i think Genos deserves S Tier. His passive abilities are amazing and most importantly his base moves has very good damage. His combos are also pretty nice ngl

metal bat has the best base moveset, he has almost all moves varients like homerun if u miss, uppercut grandslam and foul ball varient, he has the best ults

Genos can be very good if u know how to use it, for Genos i think u don't need an combo u just need to know the moves and a little of tech. Its ult is the best not only because its ranged, its because ur moves reset every time u get an kill.
Tip: trick your opponent into walking into incinerate and you will most probably get a free kill. I think the move has a lot of untapped potential
Edit: you can cancel the startup of brutal beatdown and savage tornado with death blow in case they will cancel the move with an up-close attack (also mentioned in the video but I think it makes the awakening just a new type of better)
to be honest, im quite a garou user and incredibly experienced with it i kinda agree with the tier listing for garou, the ultimate just stinks because you could just run away from it

Funfact about genos when u use a finisher mostly jet dive it recharged the skills which is kinda op
Fun Fact: If u use machine gun blows on a low hp player, it will do finisher, and from that finisher u get 3 kills at once (idk if there's any other moves that can give 3 kills at once, but machine gun blows finisher can give u 3 kills at once, and I think that genos is may be the best character for kills)

I think The Strongrest Hero (Saitama) should be S tier because he has a lot of one shot combos, a lot of very easy but high damage combos, and unescapeable high damage combos. Also the ult is inf for saitama. Death counter kind of better than death blow bc u can see death blow but its hard know if saitama have death counter or no. I think saitama is the best character in the whole game.

Hero hunter used to be one of the characters when there were no long range characters and it's Ultimate was op until the admin and owner decided to nerf it 3 times :(.
im starting to think i have 2 of my own techs for garou or smth with the hunter grasp because i fr just can 1 use it on lagged people to ride while they are rolling on the floor back and no use of dashes or 2 grasp and instantly hit to uppercut so u dont need side dash to catch them in their back

as a sonic main, i’d say he either goes in A or C depending on the player, since good players can pull off some insanely long true combos to get their moves back and kill you, while people who don’t know how are most likely gonna die fast

Sonic players usually just run and hope their opponents don't see the move starting.
The only reason I use sonic is to catch runners. I myself main garou so I know the pain of catching a runner as garou

The thing i hate about genos is how easy he is to use. Hes incredibly easy to pick up, due to his range letting you not get into the danger zone of other players while still dealing good damage, but it's exactly this that makes him so bad for beginners. It just doesnt let you improve at all. All a genos main does 90% of the time is just spam random attacks, no side dashing, m1, no nothing. Maining him as a starter kinda disables you from learning the core concepts of the game, unlike garou or saitama which you have to get close with, it seems worse and harder but you learn so much easier
a pro player that is a Genos main that can side dash well is annoying to face.
Even if you're good with Saitama or garou they will get you low.
Saitama especially he cannot counter most of Genos's moves because most are unlockable.

I'm actually a garou main before, but I switched to genos and now I know how to side dash with genos also, I think people say that genos has NO skill at all, it is because they just don't know how to use it properly. The techs are really good and that it needs skill to be done
Another thing, if it is a begginer or a starter character, they will always probably start as a spammer or a noob but today is different, because all of the new op techs need skill now so genos players can now practice and they will learn aswell just like any other character.
@@Silencer666 In my opinion however, I remember starting out trying Genos and he was just super easy to use, I didn't really require any skills or anything to mindlessly use attacks and run at or away from the enemy. Learning new techs or skills never really felt needed, unlike when I switched to Saitama which actually needs to be close to hit, which is when I learned the most, so that's why I'm saying Genos is a bad starter, if I switch to him now I'd probably be great at the game, but his gameplay consists of pretty much just floating and running away, so I don't because now that I'm no longer a beginner, his gameplay just seems boring.

Honestly garou as a beginner character its not bad, its very useful to learn combos but when you get better at the game you realize its not the best
What i suggest its a mastered version where he gets a totally different base movest and ult to make him viable at higher levels and if you read the manga you know what im talking about

The user will gain I frames and start a cinematic where a random friend from the user friend list appears and gives the hand to the user on the ground. After this a aoe ray of light falls from above covering about mid range in a 360 radius making constant 1 dmg for 5 secs.
All life extermination fist:the user will perform a small hit infront of him, if this hit lands the user will gain I frames and send the enemy flying with a shockwave. After that the user will create a portal appearing behimd the ooponent giving a downslam at extreme speeds [Blockable]
Cosmic gamma ray:after 3 sec windup the user will shoot a gammaray from his body dealing low dmg constantly, attracting targets nearby. The pull can be negated by just dashing, the gammaray will hit behind and infront ot the user and after finishing the attack the ult counter will go to 0
Cosmic radiation:the user will stop moving and start to emit an AOE area, everything inside this area will move 25% slower and do 50% less dmg while recieving ticks of low dmg. Can be negated by any attack, doesn't give I frames (can last forever unless is interrumped)
Saitama mode - Serious punch:the user will dash and hit similar to crushing rock, but on impact a small nerfed version of serious punch with a 90 degre area of effect will be executed dealing no knockback on impact but high dmg

Passives
Divine judgment:after every kill the ult duration will Increase by 5 seconds, to balance this the user will lose health slowly unless the user deals any type of damage to the opponent.
Portals:dashes are changed by portals doing instant movement like modern ninja dashes, when the user dashes the user will create a small cosmic radiation burst that deals low dmg constanly overtime, lasting 3 seconds

I think it is a great tierlist, but the only problem is I think saitama needs to be in s tier. His combos are completely crazy and unlike any other character.

Tbh u should have ranked garou at high A or low S cuz his combos r insanely op when u master the juicy stuff ( garou mains know what I talking abt) also despite goofy range his moves r rlly good block breakers and u can start combos in the easiest ways the only and the satisfaction when u land a flashy combo is.. the only thing bringing him down is his ult it socks BUT final hunt is probably one of the most powerful moves in the whole game cuz it can literally cancel death counter, death blow, incinerate etc. Overall for me garou is a high A
Edit: now in a 1v1 situation garou is still good and he deserves to be higher cuz he is probably the best character for teamers (based on my opinion)

@@Hethatapproachesdepends, i main garou, and i can do one shot unescapable combo, i have killed pp with 8k+ kills with no trouble, some of them using saitama, and i think genos is kinda spammy
@@Hethatapproaches Why is that exactly? Garou got 2 block bypassing grabs, "1" move startup is the fastest on the game and got decent range compared to the rest of block bypassing moves. His counter is good and is unique, since his the only one that has one in base, including fast startup and combo starting if you got 3 off cooldown. So considerating all that, priority on trades and fast comboing tools, i don't see why he's "objectively worse" than other characters in general.

Sonic is B lol, its literally the easiest just use scater and ur opponent is inside a combo(Ur not wrong tho)
Don’t forget about The Final Hunt can cancel a lot of attacks and go through Death Counter and Death Blow

Quick tip for sonic:
Most players immediately ragdoll cancel after twinblade rush, if you use carnage right after that, they can't dodge it cause ragdoll cancel consumes both your forward dash and your side ways dash

Even with two moves, Atomic Samurai is already good, he drains your life and leaves it at 70-65(could be more or less ) percent health, and its cooldowns are good I'm really excited about how its ultimate will be

Tweaking I-Frames, the dash part of crushed rock should have I-Frames, not the charge up

the best thing i could think of is "Poseidom Wrath" basically summons a tsunami that goes extremely fast and can deal 61% damage and it's variant would be like a whirlpool (to toggle it you gotta press that move twice) basically summons a whirlpool infront of you to suck the player to them

Quick tip for Metal Bat:
People who are smart tend to go for the attack as soon as they see you use Brutal Beatdown, so use death blow then and trick them.

hero hunter deserves C tier mainly since it's close range like you said, I would personally put it in S tier but since the I-frames don't appear anymore in crushed rock, waterstream rock smashing, hunter's cruelty ( i think), they drastically bring it down to lower ranks, and I'm still wondering if I should go back to saitama since he practically never gets any nerfs.
I personally feel like sonic is just generally the best character; The passive, the ultimate, they're all good. The base moveset is also very good, since all of the attacks are ranged. Having ranged attacks makes it extremely easy to "combo" by using abilities when someone is knocked down. The scatter ability is also extremely good, since it is a guaranteed combo, even if it's blocked. Sonic is just all around, a great character, although it is far too good if you know how to use it decently.
Metal Bat being high B-tier is valid but low A-tier could be better, let me explain why.
Metal Bat is a grappler-class, a slow class-type that specializes on locking down oppositions and dishing out heavy damage in the process, that's why his base-kit has hit and miss variations.
The miss variants specifically allows for surprising attacks that is a good combo-intiating tool but it's very predictable which brings us to his passive that allows his predictability to also benefit him, the only downside being that he is closer death/defeat.
Combination of those said capabilities of Metal Bat makes him to be a constant threat.
Here is something weird that I came up with. Instead of preys peril being a counter it can also be long range so just incase you miss a preys peril you can do a second attack to catch people off guard. Kinda like what Foul Ball does for the metal bat. Or is this too op?
Well when you showcased the ninja you overlooked 1 thing, when the super activates you can teleport at light speed by spaming side dashes
I feel like the developers made metal bat the slowest character for m1s but as a metal bat main it’s secret ability has more range in the m1s for instance if ur opponent is like a couple feet away from u and comes in close contact u can stun them with the range of metal bat
Also genos last m1 fires a flame blast that isint a joke it has as much range as it seems or kinda but it has enough range to hit ur opponent with out them being able to hit u back
as a metal bat main, I agree, the m1s are pretty slow, but if you know how to use it right it can be devastating, but for rookies its the worst
another thing about genos is he has another passive that you didnt talk about but when he m1 uppercuts the play goes higher then usual
in my opinion if u use garou right u can do some INSANEE comboes even if the ult is bad i would say it could prob beat a metal bat or genos ult ive done it before
Tbh it's really easy to dodge or block genos's move set only real hard one to dodge is the kick in the ultimate move set not the dropkick but the first one in the ultimate I forgot it's name because of the ground slam thing at the end that's really the only thing that's hard to dodge or block incinerate is easy to counter unless you are like trapped in 2v2 against 2 people then it's quite hard to dodge but really easy to dodge in general.

alr one thing that thunder dash int he variation u can bassicly cancel it u will take damage and roll back but less dmg and speedblitz dropkick also doesent have s at the loading
Fun fact:saitama has a finisher thing that buffs u: first off every move when finisher (expect shove) can do ALOT of damage when there’s another play in ur finisher plus it gives u 2x ult bar depending on the move the best one is shove to punch or shove to barrage or shove to upper cut
fun fact: the strongest hero no longer has ult limit when the ult is used, instead, you have to knock down your enemy then use whatever ability you have on your sleeves, or if your enemy like to get revenge, just throw death counter on them.
As a Sonic main, I think it gets you really good at block counters. I improved a lot by getting good at that, sadly most of us spam and we get a really bad rep.
Personal opinion, i think metal bat has the potential to be high A tier to low S tier because of my experiences, metal bat has really spammy moves like if the enemy doesn't know how to block then they're done for, you can just distance yourself a bit and wait for the enemy to front dash or side dash and use no.2 skill because has a really fast animation, and you can just follow up any of his skills because they dont need a target to hit meaning you can just spam them even when they are knocked out which is what i basically do to gain ultimate fast, and the ultimate is really good in my opinion, reall big ranged skills except skill no.3 which makes it also spammy and i always seem to hit them and always trick them to hitting me while i use the death blow

My best fast combo for Saitama is :
M1 + rapid barrage punch + uppercut + turn camera around and side dash to the opponent + M1 + normal punch
As a Metal Bat main ever since he was released, I’d like to object his placing, I don’t think the animations should matter at all and I don’t even care about M1 trading at all, I just go in and if I land Beatdown or Foul Ball then I use Homerun after and if I wanna start a fight, then I use Grand Slam, and his ultimates are overpowered.

I came up with the saitama combo where you uppercut side dash and normal punch ur enemy as they are falling, I have a one shot combo, and I came up with the four m1s and shrieking while falling combo
Finally someone agrees with me I mean I sometimes use hero hunter he gets your health done fast and he's a good counterer But it's just that every single 1 of his moves are close ranged
This civieoe is so good for people that are new to th game

my opinion hero hunter is like B or A but the states you pointed out dont have any flaws so i think you have the win and nice tier list informative video gonna take this into consideration
M1s are all the same except for the last one. The only thing that changes is the animations. They use the same exact frame data. With the only exception in m1s being what the last one does.
thing about metal bat, you CANNOT sit and hold block because 3/4 abilities are unblockable. even if u fail m1, if your enemy isnt quick enough u can use 1st abilit, also 4th ability is great block crusher and combo starter
The problem of the death blow is tricky cuz when the player moves it's over when they use strongest hero and they use ultimate it's over
the reason for how big the increase is in the ult bar with each strongest hero move -saitama- its because you can only use one attack then the ult goes away i think for others it lasts like 1 minute
Thats why garou mains are the greatest type of players in TSB. They can neither be dumb but still win or just plain out skilled

Hero hunters ults attack can cancel alot of attacks and even death counter but fair
The Cyborg is the best way to play FFA because it's so much fun using 3 jet dives or dropkicks after one another
I play sometimes the strongest battleground on PlayStation and there is lock on and when i tried genos he was too OP
Two things, Genos technically has 3 passives (his ult gain is almost the same as Saitama), and Garou ult still has s ONLY when you land them or nick someone.
Huh? The ult gain feels slower though, Im a genos main with 5k

8:45: not to mension that straight on is BLOCKABLE - you will still take damage but you won't be stunned at all and you can captalize off the small stun time the sonic user will have
Metal bat is also very annoying about tons of zoning… If u use dash to much, youll lose bc they will just slam you
