I am an Israeli. Really appreciate what Thich Nhat Hanh did in | Day 6 of the Israeli Palestinian Retreat (2003)
Unfortunately, nearly 20 years have passed and the issue is still unresolved. There are ideological extremist groups on both sides that are not willing to sit together and unfortunately the governments are also hardening their stance. It is very sad that the wars have not disappeared from the world. On the 24th .2. 22 Russia invades Ukraine. Thousands of refugees on the run. A new war in Europe. We know when it started, but we do not know when it will end. We need today the wisdom of Thich Nhat Hanh. As an individual I strengthen myself with mindfulness and hope for peace.
America and China is approaching open conflict. The war between Russia and Ukraine is being used to make European people ready to re-militarise. John Mearsheimer has made my understanding clearer on this topic. I highly recommend his one to one conversation here on TH-cam called Conversations with history: John Mearsheimer. Peace
