Being called a liar about where I was coming from and where I was going. Trying to be intimidated with cuffs for no law being broken except the air freshener. The dog finally came and scratched my car, they had the dog sitting on the hood. I don't do drugs or even drink alcohol, the dog didn't hit and I was finally let go. Intimidation, handcuffs, being called a liar, for what? An air freshener on my rear view? I'm a conservative, this has nothing to do with liberal vs conservative. This has to do with reality.

This is a good story to share. The cop didn’t treat him like a criminal, searching the car, placing him in cuffs, he was cool with him. And the driver was respectful, followed instructions, so both parties made this a good situation

Be respectful, don’t lie, don’t get fidgety when they pat you down and you’ll probably get off with a warning like this good gentleman seen in the video. Cops aren’t the villains some want to make them into, they’re just people in a difficult job with terribly difficult decisions to make that affect people they serve for generations sometimes.
I can truly attest to the fact that RESPECT is a very valuable commodity in life. Years ago I was stopped by an officer for not properly slowing down at a yield sign and just like this kind officer I was treated with respect because I respected his position as an officer to enforce the laws of safe driving. Not only did he let me go with just a warning to be careful to obey traffick signs but he also responded that he was not going to be the first officer to give me a ticket!! So grateful and I have never gotten a ticket thanks to his advice and kindness!!
Honestly a lot of kids watch these vids and read the posts. Why even post something that shouldn't been barraged about. Too many of our young kids today are doing things that put their lives in danger "To impress their friends!" & Unfortunately get shot themselves! I'm glad to see a video of an officer cutting someone some slack. he did not seem like a bad guy the short on cash right now. I myself have had police officers cut me breaks in the past. and I appreciate every one of them. As a rule of thumb I'm always straight up when I get pulled over and it works for me.
I got pulled over last night with expired tabs. After he ran my license and came back the words they used were almost identical. " Since u been honest and have a clean recorded I'm let u go" First thing this morning I was at the dmv and got my self some new tabs........ It just shows there are still good cops out there, dont be so quick to judge all the time

That's not always the case, you can't generalize that all cops are good like this one and vice versa. Experiences vary, they're just there to enforce the law and collect revenue for the county and state.

In California its because the car wont pass smog testing....its too expensive to comply and/or the car is not worth fixing. It is the state way of saying get another car. But you will get a ticket at least, not a warning...
