Jeez - you give us so little information - I found out more in my first half hour in lovely Wurzburg on my first visit. Crossing the Alte Main Brucke, and honouring the saints there depicted. The Bombing in March 45 was a War Crime pure and simple.
Hallo! I can't believe you walked right by the "Röntgen Haus" without mentioning that the x ray was discovered there! (The light green building across the street at the end of the video.) Other than that: 👍😉
I am so glad you did this! After doing some deep diving on Ancestry I knew my family starting with my great-grandfather were from Germany, but I found out that they were from wurzburg and that goes back many generations before him. It doesn't seem like I'd be able to travel there anytime soon, and this video just filled me with joy. Hopefully one day I can visit on my own but until then thank you so much for this!
I have a friend that grew up in Würzburg, beautiful city.
Spent over a year there working for the Green Machine, a wonderful place, and doesn't seem to have changed a great deal in the last 45 years.
10:00 it was also the school for German air force. after the war it became the home of the 3ID then in 96 the home of the 1ID

7:20 yeah that's where we used to cut school and go. Yeah we would cut school and still learn. Army brat life!
Loved this city. I was stationed here from 02-04 and 05-06.

Germania ovunque vai c'è sempre nuvoloso ed è sempre la stessa schifezza.
