TBH I just back into the game and surprised to finally able to auto W13 with this guide haha, guide like this really helpful and hopefully we got more guide like this
Pretty good guide, but I would like to add a few things. Crit chance The guide told to focus on Sigret's crit chance but there is no need to care about it (or any other unit's) because the team is using Furious who provides 50% crit chance to the whole team with his buff and elemental advantage that all ice units have against wyvern gives another 15%. This means that units that have 35% crit chance will always crit wyvern as long as Furious is fast enough. Effectiveness Any unit that wants to land debuffs on wyvern should aim to get close to 65% effectiveness which can be easily achieved with an effectiveness main stat ring. Wyvern 13 has 80% effect resistance which makes units that have 0% effectiveness only have 20% chance of landing their debuffs. There will always be at least a 15% chance for debuffs to get resisted which means that effectiveness caps at 65% against wyvern 13: everything above that is literally useless. Effectiveness rings The guide said that effectiveness main stat rings could be acquired from level 3 or higher automaton tower, but even level 1 tower gives accessory selection chests where these can be obtained from. Even though the rings from level 1 tower are lower levelled, they will still work just fine when you only want to bring your units close to 65% effectiveness. Speed main boots The guide mentioned that Furious should have speed main stat boots without adding where these could be obtained from. Episode 1 stage 10-3 will give level 71 crit set boots with speed main stat when explored fully. These will work just fine on Furious early on. When it comes to getting higher level speed main boots, there are a few options: crafting, conquest point shop, and alchemist's steeple. It is possible to trade lower level wyvern materials for the highest level ones in the alchemist's steeple after clearing wyvern 7 once. These can then be used to attempt to craft speed main stat boots. When doing this, useless boots should be extracted in order to eventually craft guaranteed speed main stat ones in the alchemist's steeple's equipment conversion section. Finally, conquest point shop has speed main stat boots for resist, health, immunity, injury and crit sets of which the cheapest ones are the immunity set ones.
Man,my luluca has 200% effectiveness and this explains why my luluca misses her de buffs specially her S1. My SSB has 134 effectiveness and also misses her de buffs. Guess the only thing i did right is giving my angelica 200% eff res 😂
It's nice that you officially put out a guide like this, but as a player that not too long ago needed help with Wyvern you should be a little more specific and transparent. Because right now I'd easily pick an unofficial guide over this one. Two very important things to note that were not talked about in this video is 1. You need ATLEAST 65% effectiveness to consistently land debuffs on Wyvern 13 (having more won't help so don't go overboard) and 2. There is ALWAYS a 15% chance your debuff won't land even if you have the effectiveness requirement and the skill has a 100% chance to debuff the target because that's just how the game is designed (currently).
One guide I read up on said you needed 75% Effectiveness to land debuffs on the Wyvern. My Furious has 160% Effectiveness and still misses his debuffs.
Furious is a godsend for W13. CC boost, extra turn and 100% guarantee def break will deplete wyvern healths with DD's like Muwi and Sigret equipped with DDJ artifact faster than any instant noodle cooking time
4:38 I do not recommend getting second EE unless you want to build Sigret with 65% effectiveness, if you need to deal damage then third option is better while first one is great for one-shot teams later in the game.
I think there is a slight clarification needed on the first turn. Wyvern's skill super acceleration will only attack the front unit if he is at max HP or has 2 or less debuffs when not at max hp. So damaging wyvern before he attacks and without debuffing at least twice it will cause it attack randomly.

That's not true the Wyvern doesn't attack the front always. The Wyvern will attack the front leader 75% of the time. If you unlucky he will attack the back where you usually have your damager making the run dead. 2nd Sigret's Server should be the first option because it gives 20% Server attack, you don't need bleeding because other heroes in the team has them. 3dr Montmorancy's Artifact should be Candlestick because it reduces the turn by one so she can heal more times
How much effectiveness do you need to always land debuffs? I have my Furious at 150 effectiveness but still sometimes fail to land any debuff and can cost my run to fail. Really it's so annoying to watch.

Personally I would replace Momo with Angelica, no need to spec change there and use Alexa instead of Muwi, no need to pull cause alexa is free too, but spec change helps her thou.
surprised nobody mentioned effectiveness on the other units besides muwi, cuz in my limited experience furious like to miss his Def break and that's big yikes if you're shield breaking. also nobody mentioned sigrets glasses + some effectiveness on her goes along way in bleed stacking just my 2cents
Now that I know what characters to use when I go up against the wyvern I am good. But one thing that I would like to focus on is how yo clear the Alexa quest where I have to use Alexa to beat wyvern 11 or higher. And I had difficulty defeating wyvern hunt 11 before 8 saw this video.
What do you do without Furious and Angelic Momo? As a newish player, I foolishly used A. Momo to promote another hero to 6 stars & burned Furious so many times the gacha won't give me another one. Since there wasn't a guide like this at the time AND I wasn't finding either useful in story or arena, clearing w13 is extremely difficult. New players needed to know about this & have resources that aren't dependent on being in a good guild for this guide to be useful. Even if I had benched those heroes instead of burned them, I'd be upset. That being said, thanks for making this. Better late than never. 😉
taranor guard and karin for Furious. Unfortunately momo is the easiest one, alt is angelica. You could also use any other tank units but they require good gears and fast clear time.
Easiest would probably to focus on other stuff until you get furious and momo again. Have you got that one Furious from the tavern? If not you could work towards that, you often get momo from bookmarks. Maybe even mystics if she is on rotation (I wouldnt use mystics if you dont want the ml5/ml4)
Just give us a new unit that has ignore effect resist defense break. I'm okay if it's going to require an attackk buff just to guarantee the ignore resist def break

The amount of struggle to clear 13 for hunt challenge to get useless 4 stars you already had is really not worth the effort I put into killing this dragoon
you can literally take furious with 50+ effectiveness and slap on alexa & sigret attack + crit damage only. then take some ice healer with the artefact proof of valor, 20k hp and you are done. you can buy the artefact in the guild shop. if you now say "bro I never get crit damage + attack on any gear" then maybe create a new account because yours is 100% cursed. my sigret still has lvl 70 gear lmao and I do 1 wyvern 13 run every 3 minutes or so (no oneshot tho.)
This guide entertains veteran players but absolutely confuses new players. Wyvern's health, resistance, speed, not explained, How much damage to expect from how much atk & cdm, not explained, Why is daydream joker's 1.5% powerful, not explained, to new players, they will think it's a low number, The idea of combat readiness, and how powerful defense break/attack down are, not explained. Your shitty 15% mechanics, not explained. So many things not explained. You think new players know these? I wonder what happened in E7's office. Must be full of politics.
