I own a 1.0 and the engine without turbo is silent!
Drove my friend’s city and it felt too loud! The 1.0 engine was really slick and punchy! I am more than satisfied with the engine, 120-130s feel like 89-90 Kmpl and at the speeds I got a mileage of 16-17. When driving sensibly, I get 20kmpl easily.
Great value for money and I got the 10” infotainment system. Only the rattling issues on bumpy road.

On highway at 90-110kmph this 1.5L engine will give better mileage than 1L due to better active cylinder technology, only 2 cylinder will be working at relaxed driving condition. My observation with TSI is that it open up mostly after 500km and fully open after 1k km. I feel like you are using normal 91 octane fuel, use XP95, the price difference will be worthy. Never use other additive petrol other than normal pure or XP95.
Agree about the mileage and ACT things. But still a lot of people don’t get more mileage using 95 octane. May be they drive mostly in city.
Hp power claim that they use additives. Can it be used?
@@drbsnsuri No on safer side, the only fuel trusted by most user for TSI engine is XP95, IOCL claims it as a result of refining process, may be during distillation more iso-octane and toluene is captured, it smell more than normal petrol I believe it is due to more toluene.
@@DirectShift I see two problems, the petrol bunk guy cheated put XP95 was only label but it was normal petrol, the better low end torque is very evident in XP95, the engine will receive new ptrol after few kms.
Second, with XP95 you lose your sedated driving , thus the gain nullified.
XP 95 for my 1.0 turbo makes the engine silent, smooth and the pick up is easier. The pick-up and engine runs really good after 18k kms. I’m at 23000 kms right now and the engine is smoothhhh and easily pick ups and overtakes are great.

Yes. It’s. But just upto some extent only. Will try to make a comparison side by side.
