I've flown this masterpiece of an airplane for almost two years and I can say this: Embraer has established itself as one of the greatest aircraft manufacturers in the world. This fly-by-wire system by Embraer beats Airbus and others by a lot. 5,800 feet of cabin altitude at 45,000 feet is an amazing difference for passenger comfort. 4,000 nautical miles of range in an aircraft so small and nimble is also another huge selling point on the Praetor 600. The competition has not been able to come up with anything nearly as good as this aircraft. Embraer has really done it! So proud of being a Brazilian pilot that has had the honor and privilege of flying both ERJ and Praetor family of airplanes. ❤🇧🇷
Well of course not because this is a corporate/private jet focused aircraft and airbus makes mainly commercial/airline focused aircraft 😭
But yes I will agree, this aircraft is by far one of my favorite corporate jets by a long shot!
How does Embraer's fly-by-wire differ from Airbus, or other competitors?
@@authenticNL2 not easy to explain or describe if you haven't flown either one. There are similarities, it's fundamentally the same rough idea, the functions are slightly different, but much more advanced overall, naturally, as it's a clean sheet design, created several decades later than the Airbus design. It's just better and easier to work with. Much more user friendly than Airbus' implementation, that's the best way to describe it.
Why is it so much slower than its competitors?
Now when i saw Steve, i just knew that this video review is going to be the best of the best.

the fact that this jet can fly transatlantic cheaply, comfortably, quickly, and efficiently for as little as $20 million shows just how good this is. That cockpit is lovely!

@@philippesails4973 Embraer has been a public-private company from day one, it was just listed and restructured in the 90's along with many other public-private companies in Brazil after an economic crisis. Not a pilot or aviation insider but looking on the stats of this beauty and compare it to others the capabilities of the Praetor are outstanding, esp. when taking its pricetag into consideration, compared to other biz-jets.
As a child, my paper planes used to fly better and longer whenever I twisted up the tips of the wings, but then they invented the winglet

An excellent, very high quality feature addressing every aviation enthusiast.
I will comment on what appears like the least relevant detail: the formal attire of both cockpit and passengers, incl. a clean white shirt, proper and appropriate ties and shoes. It communicates a level of respect extended to the magnitude of the investment this aircraft represents all the way to the skills represented by the pilots and not least the ambition and delivery of the production crew making this video happen. Well done!

Em se tratando de Embraer, só irão fazer se constatarem que teriam muita aceitação dos pretendentes. Considerando que podem conseguir oferecer preço abaixo do mercado e economia de combustível abaixo da média, acredito que o mercado aceitaria em detrimento dos outros players.

Sorry to say this is not NYC ! It’s Teterboro. TEB, which is New Jersey. LOL ! How do I know this, I was based at TEB with several different corporations throughout my career as a corporate pilot.
