I love watching Ayo Oddwin's videos where he samples videogames that he just beat on stream. The Pizza Tower beats where especially flames. I also recently sampled some New Super Mario Bros songs (one turned into a trap beat and the other was some lofi-ish boom bap stuff). Sampling games, TV-shows, etc...really helps with beat block to cause it provides a fresh experience so that beatmaking down become too stale.
