That first fighter interaction is insane. PDR is definitely definitely balanced

Pdr is balanced when you are against classes you can’t catch. The problem is all these ranged options for every class.. it’s dumb.. Ranger should have ranged options and that’s it. If fighter has range it should be with weapon mastery and crossbow should be put in that category too. Fighters also just fall over to magic classes a lot of the time and get kited to hell so why complain?
Agreed, well played. Just as a tip to fighting PDR fighters, try to punish them for puling out their crossbow/throwing axes while they're being kited, by pulling out your sword and trying to get in melee dmg. If they're not holding their sword and shield, your ms and dex should let you get in some free damage, or at least win the trade, before they can react and pull out their sword. Then pull out and continue to kite. Without true dmg, the survival bow sucks against PDR unfortunately. You landed hella shots tho, nice shootin!
@@JoSchmo-gg as a PDR fighter, sometimes ill bait the crossbow to get them to turn around then immediately switch to sword and shield. watch for that
I mean, survival bow does 22 dmg... geared fighters can have 130 hp plus ~60% PDR. So you're doing 9 dmg a hit with that. Now falloff damage is heavy now, so it's likely 6-9 dmg. Use a stronger bow.
Or kite. Notice how the fighter could do literally nothing there. That's life for PDR boys
i was thinking of making a lucio style bard that builds all agy and speed boosts his team while playing din of darkness with so much move speed that he outruns while dinning

I wouldnt say its toxic. its just boring and too strong.
Thankfully, ironmace is aware and will mostly likely be making changes to it in the upcoming weeks/months.(they mentioned disliking ranged meta in the recent podcast interview)

I died to a wizard's magic missile doing that bug after I had killed him. I went to loot him and the bugged out missiles killed me.
Fighter clip in the beginning is EXACTLY why bard doesnt need a nerf, look at how much we fucking have to do, its even harder against barb, 1 mistake and its over
Im demigod in bard solos, this has been my life for the last 50 days except it was infinitely worse before buffs
After buffs, we aren't the strongest class but we're easily the best all rounder, we have the tools to win literally any engagement if you build and play perfectly, bards the highest skill cap class now

Hate it or love ot but "range meta" is what makes this game special. Change my mind but the fighting system in general (lack of riposte) plus big gaps in attributes wouldnt allow they game to just work with meele only fights. It would be brutal cleric fifhter barb combs all the time. Gearcheck would be waaaay higher and not allow for many counterplays. Fighting range can be aids but it allows the game to be the way it is.

@@haga7466 I’m talking for pdr fighter, if ur full plate ur at 245 move speed before move speed add or anything on ur gear. Ur still negative move speed with sprint, also pdr fighter has one of the lowest dps in the game
pdr fighter is bs, same as hp barb, like its not fun just surviving 20 hits simply because your class is allowed to
