Somewhere on Earth is off to discover Rajasthan. This land rich in history embodies all the magic of India. Located in the north of the country, Rajasthan is bordered by arid plains and mountains. It’s the ancestral land of the Maharajas, the last Rajput horsemen and desert tribes.
Pabu was born in the Thar Desert. He never left these steppes of his childhood. Pabu belongs to the tribe of the Bhils, the hunters. He has worked tirelessly at bettering the lives of the women and men of his community: The Untouchables of the Thar Desert.
Geraldine, on her legendary motorcycle, rides the roads of India and Rajasthan. After traveling in the US and Australia, this young Frenchwoman from Normandie landed in New Delhi. India, which she explores every day, has changed her life.
Ajeet is a horseman, a descendant of Rajasthan’s warriors, the Rajputs, literally “Sons of Kings.” At 32 years old, he’s continuing on the path of his family for 8 generations. Ajeet is an ardent defender of the Marwaris, the horses of Rajasthan that nearly became extinct.

The word " Untouchables " hurts me very much beyond description. I am from Tamilnadu India. We are being taught "Untouchability is a crime against God" from our early childhood. But still the peoples ' mentality has not changed ( only in villages). In cities the sin has died natural death because of education. Gandhiji said India lives in its villages. But India is dying in villages because of this crime against humanity - UNTOUCHABILITY.

"Emblematic motorcycle of India"? They were made in Britain by the same company that made the rifles. Britain stopped making them in 1967 because Japanese motorcycles were better. Most of the Indian police rode Enfields so the company sold them the plates and presses so that they could make spares, but they made new motorbikes. They weren't good when they they were made in Britain and they didn't get better.

This caste system of our country is very very bad. I hope our country will overcome it. In my area we have no such discrimination on caste.

Animals don't 'give' strength to you. What you mean is you're taking their lives. The same thing YOU would find horrible if it happened to YOU. And you're making up 'excuses' like 'but we haaaveee tooo...' that only idiots believe and cruel people are willing to spread despite knowing it's not true. Don't glorify abuse and murder.

Why are all Free documentaries so old?…..This one, seems like it’s from early 1980s and there is nothing new here same old….untouchability, Sati, Maharajahs, religion etc. these days there are a lot of westerners travelling India who make really good blogs about current India.
