Joseph Cornell is my favorite artist hands down. I love making boxed assemblages as well & was very inspired by your work Greg. I think you're quite brilliant and I hope you will continue posting! I totally agree about the opportunity to play in a creative and organized whimsical way. So happy your work has been on exhibition. I have never shared my with anyone outside my family. Keep shining :)
Thanks for inspiring me as a mixed media artist to use what I have of paper book and regular boxes in my art junk stash. I'll have to try making my own unique assemblege box ASAP. :) Love your work you share here on youtube.
I love your stuff!!! I tried my hand at making a little box the other day!! I made a little video on it and got lots on nice comments!! Thanks for the inspiration!!
@MrsMcCabeScraps You did a great job on your box! I especially like that you covered it with the vintage paper...I think that kind of thing always adds so much more character!!!
@CAP953 Hi, thanks for your comments. Yes,I've got a stack of cigar boxes, use them every now and then! One of the pieces in this video was a cigar box. I generally don't wear gloves with the dye, even though I can be bit careless with it...it seems to wash off my fingers easily.
just wondered if you have ever used old cigar boxes? As always your work is very inspirational. I especially like the way you combine the various elements to make such a cohesive whole. I always look forward to seeing what you are up to. Does the dye you mix up require wearing gloves when you apply it?
Thank you so much for introducing me to Joseph Cornell and his work- always enjoy learning about new artists!!

Once again...fantastic. I can only imagine the inventory you must have. You'll have to show us a video of your studio sometime.
