I use bonding glue. But for removal, NEVER JUST PULL THEM OFF (it hurts like hell, you will definitely pull out your natural lashes.) I wet them with a little water on my finger...wait a few seconds, then they will slide right of and you will still have your natural lashes.

kalisha jones I use to be the same way with the timing until I got the duo glue in the green packaging which is a clear adhesive. The color changes once it's tacky and ready to put the lash on.

Years ago when I was in beauty school, we had the MAC makeup artists come to our school to do a lash demo and they stated the same thing that our hair school told us....hair glue is never good for your eyes....They stated that it could eventually cause you to have eye problems. It is a personal preference, but you really have to be careful about something like this being on your eyes. Our eyes are sensitive. I remember a few years ago a woman by the name of Atasha Graham, 34 years old died after a night of clubbing. The doctor indirectly speculated that the sweat from dancing may have allowed glue to enter her blood stream, which caused a deadly chemical reaction. Pathologist said that her death could have been from the latex glue used to apply the extensions, or the solvent used for removing old ones. Doctors called it anaphylactic shock. He said that there are 10 to 20 deaths each year. The pathologist said that she had no drugs in her system and only a moderate amount of alcohol in her system, which could not have caused her death.

Hair bond is safer cause duo uses formalin sodium and sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate Hair bond uses ingredients that both use latex adhesive and black color and ammonia Duo uses latex color amonia those other harmful additives

I was using bond glue but now after a make-up artist did my face and lashes Im switching to Duo. My sister's wedding was 6/23/18 and here it is 6/27/18 and my lashes are still on using Duo. To me the Duo glue lasts longer especially, if you get waterproof brand. However, with the bond glue the lash rises up and you have to keep touching up the lashes or reapplying them all over again.

My lashes would last me days (3+) w/ that but also I knew when it was time to take them off because my eyelids would become sore 😬(but I didn’t know any better then). Only thing about duo it will lift in the corners but it’s easier to remove.
I can't do duo it don't last long at all and if you outside or sweating or on a damn roller-coaster them hoes flying off or they gonna lift in the cor er and you gonna be looking a mess.

Duo is the best i to have watery eyes and the coners lift at the end of the day really just need to check then threw the day nomally i wait 20 mins then go back and check them if the lash is a tiny bit lifted i glue em down and they stay all day

I do my own lashes now (which aren't as heavy) and swear by lash glue.. Duo is a lil pricey so I started to use the Kiss brand and it's everything ! They carry it in local BSS, Walmart etc Just a tip, using black glue vs clear enhances the look

I know somebody has told y’all to pull lightly from the inner corner of tour eyes and pull going towards the outer wing of your eye as in if you’re on your right grab from the inner track and pull towards the right.

I have an allergic reaction to hair glue. If you're a MUA and try to pass that off as safe you're dead wrong and I won't pay straight up. Lash glue is for lashes.

I remember back in the day my drag queen friends would always use bonding glue. And I have some lashes I'll be wearing for electric daisy carnival next month and I really want them to stay on good but I couldn't remember 100% if my friends were using bonding glue or if I made that up in my head cause it was so many years ago. Ok so for me The Bonding glue has worked so much better. Its easy to apply for any glue, but for me the hold was so much better with the bonding glue, it lasted all day and I even was able to sleep with them on to test the hold they lasted through out the night with no problem and its easy to clean off the left over glue when you remove them. You need need to be carefull to not get the glue in your eyes.

When I used to do lashes, bonding is the only glue I used! It holds up really well and keeps your lashes on for a long time!

I’ve used BOTH. With Miami weather being so BiPolar I let the client choose. Almost 99/100 they request! Bonding Glue for whatever reasons.

I have an allergic reaction to hair glue. If you're a MUA and try to pass that off as safe you're dead wrong and I won't pay straight up. Lash glue is for lashes.
I agree! If you're doing your own then hey use what works for you but as a professional I would never use hair glue on lashes just as I wouldn't use lash glue on the hair, hairline or scalp of my clients!
I would ask for my money back or refuse their services if any MUA tried this on me

I remember back in the day my drag queen friends would always use bonding glue. And I have some lashes I'll be wearing for electric daisy carnival next month and I really want them to stay on good but I couldn't remember 100% if my friends were using bonding glue or if I made that up in my head cause it was so many years ago. This video was helpful. I'll be wearing bonding glue to edc.

Ok so for me The Bonding glue has worked so much better. Its easy to apply for any glue, but for me the hold was so much better with the bonding glue, it lasted all day and I even was able to sleep with them on to test the hold they lasted through out the night with no problem and its easy to clean off the left over glue when you remove them. You need need to be carefull to not get the glue in your eyes.
