Hi Bekah! Excellent video on renting a car for Orlando. You even covered the SunPass issue, excellent! I always rent a car when I am in Orlando, so 2 years ago I purchased a SunPass and use it every time I am in Florida. You get a discount on the most of the tolls and it saves you a lot of money, either on the tolls themselves or the extra fees that the rental car company charges. One thing to be careful is some rental car companies do not “rent” the SunPass, they tell that you can just go through the tolls and they will be charged to your rental car. That option also comes with a daily fee and it doesn’t hit your credit card until a month or 2 after your trip. I can be an ugly surprise afterwards when you have forgotten about and the bill comes. It is always higher than you expected. Ken
Great video! Check into dropping the car off at different locations as well. We found it cheaper to pick it up at the airport and return it on property. Then we took the Magical Express back to the airport. Every little bit helps!
Yay, I totally asked for this video! 😁. Thanks for the tips! With Google maps, you can download offline maps before the trip, and use them without service while you're there. :)
I’ve never rented a car at Disney! I like to take a break from driving when I’m there...but I may end up renting a car if we want to go to universal. Great video girl!!!!
Why not use Expedia? They have all the car places. We always get are car from places at the airport. I usually use enterprise or thirty. But thirty has a shuttle from the airport to the car pickup place. We have American family insurance and usually you don’t have to purchase more through them. I paid like $12 bucks for a whole week.
I really need some information, if you can. Can you let me know who you went with? How much was the total for the couple of days to rent? We are going to do the cheapest car, but we don’t know how much extra they charge besides the daily fees. Do they put a hold charge of any sorts? And do you know if we can just use a debit card, or have to have a credit card? We are only using the car to get around Florida not Disney.
You went to Disney World for a weekend and needed a SunPass? We have our car at WDW 95% of the time and never needed our SunPass. The only time I encountered tolls was when we drove to WDW from Brevard county and took the Beachline aka 528. Were you cruising? You can easily avoid tolls in the WDW area. I also would recommend having a Florida map or at least an Orlando map, and know how to read it. Paper maps never go offline. Great blog, and congratulations on your baby news.
Yes ☺️ I highly recommend being prepared for tolls if you are visiting Orlando and are unfamiliar with the roads. We passed through a couple on our way to and from MCO, and I’m thankful we didn’t have to worry about getting charged an arm and a leg once we got home 🙌🏼☺️
Now that you will have a baby soon and will bring her on your trip make sure you alway have your own carseat! First safety because I'm sure you will have a really good and new carseat and renting them honestly you never know if its good, if its safe, if its been in a car accident plus they are dirty yuk! And of course they charge you I think $30-$45 PER DAY!!!! Crazy!
Do you rent a car on your Disney vacations? What are some of your tips for renting a car Disney?! Thanks for watching! ☺️

Thanks, Ken! And yes, great point! 👌🏼 Man they get you with all the extra fees!

Yay! So glad it was helpful! And yes, I’ll definitely be more prepared next time 😅🤦🏼♀️
Thank you for the heads up about Sunpass. I never thought about that when I reserved my car. 👍
Yes!! It’s an easy thing to forget. Obviously we didn’t think about it either 😅 Glad I could help!

Thanks, girl!! We had never rented a car at Disney either until our last trip! I think we’re hooked 🙈

That’s a great option too! Any shortcut to finding a good deal is awesome 👌🏼☺️
Do I need to do any research?

We usually rent a car through Enterprise ☺️ The cost can vary on many factors. You do need a credit card for payment, they will not accept debit.

I don’t. I get frustrated when I don’t know where I’m going. So it’s nice to have someone drive me around.
Totally get it! There are so many perks of Disney transportation, renting a car on property isn’t for everyone ☺️
Just the video I needed!
So glad!!!
Lol Bekah weird question but where do you get your t-shirts?? Look so comfy I could just live in them 24/7😂 anyway thanks for the great advice;)
They’re all from an online store called Carly Jean Los Angelos ☺️ BEST and comfiest tees I’ve ever had!!!
The car class I reserved was for a VW Jetta, but we ended up with a Kia Soul! So next time i will reserve a larger car. Thats my learning lesson 😀
Oh man! Yeah sometimes it’s a gamble 🤷🏼♀️
I do not want to drive in Disney. Want to just sit and chill. Great video btw!!
Totally! Renting a car isn’t for everyone, there are definitely pros and cons 👍🏼 Thanks for watching! ☺️
Great tips!
Thanks, Margy! 😘
M&M tube of quarters 🚗
