They just released 2 new albums mid December and both are a blast. „My Right Hand Thumb Is A Kraken“ is a good starting point. Or „Macchu Picchu“ (an older song and their most known one I‘d say). They‘re also very SOAD-like and even played a streaming gig during the first lockdown in 2020: One hour Ailiph Doepa playing System Of A Down songs. That was very awesome!
Ever check out Boris? They’re a Japanese Melvins worship doom metal trip band that also does hardcore punk, ambient, j-pop, electronic/rave, industrial, rock, this song, drone and harsh noise. Sonically, their live shows match Who/Manowar levels, but in small venues

At the time it was 100% ironic and from MTH's point of view very likely still is today. They even talk about it at the end of the song, how winny isn't even used anymore, so it's pointless to even mention it in the song. And yes, since signing with Warner, Warner is protecting their money any way they can, and they are way bigger than VAP, so that is why there's so many takedowns.

so they are an epic metal band . but a lot for their songs break in to another genres' . Not a music major but going "low to high". "fast to slow" is a thing. Then playing on the human brain we like all music for 30 to 45 secs ..before we" like it or not' ... For the Japanese part they are kinda stuck in a box I would think b/c their most popular songs are anime intro's or outro's
