Just finished watching this drama. Now it becomes one of my favorite modern chinese drama .. In my opinion, this drama should get more views. No boring scenes/ episodes. Interesting story , suspenseful, unpredictable and amazing chemistry by Lin Geng Xin and Cass Gai.❤ Kudos to the scriptwriter, director, production team and casts.. 👏

The acting, production, music score, casting, cinematography, chemistry between the leads, suspense and the flow of the story are all absolutely impeccable. Kenny Lin is a treat to watch. His acting keeps you glued to the screen. I am hoping that the ending is favorable to our handsome and talented leads.
Completely agree! I've finished all 40 episodes. Wow - just blown away. This is one of the best Chinese dramas I've seen - I'd been on the edge of my seat from the very first episode to the last. It is filled with humor, suspense, mystery, romance, thrills, twists, action, smarts, and amazing use of music throughout. So well-acted, especially from the two leads. Lin Gengxin and Gai Yuexi are incredible in this. This is an impressive production from every aspect!
Lin Geng Xin played very well here as a mature detective. He portrayed his styles range from make-up to clothing showing a mature adult figure which suits his age around 32. Thankfully Kenny Lin's drama migrated gradually from wuxia fantasy young adult into an adult mature acting performances.
I've been searching for a good modern drama and i think that this is the one :D It's time to switch a little bit from Historical/Fantasy chinese dramas.

疫情期间无意中看了楚乔传以后又来看这部剧喜欢上了林更新，古装和现代装都很帅，觉得他的先天条件非常好，脸部轮廓分明，五官非常立体，侧面尤其好看，身材比例也特别好，大高个宽肩翘臀腿又細又长又直。而且演技也很棒，在这部剧里不同身份间切换自如又没有很刻意，有几场打戏很精彩
