- Gu Shengnan, after suffering the double blow of broken love and unemployment, she waits for the prince riding a white horse to rescue her. But unexpectedly this prince turns to be a picky and arrogant man, Lu Jin. Once he meets with the talented chef Gu Shengnan, constant accidents show up, but he is always attracted by Shengnan’s superb cooking skill. During this period of getting along with each other, the two fatefully move closer and closer. Finally, one day, the overbearing president Lu Jin turns into a gentle boyfriend. Zhao Lusi is just 23 years old and she's been the main lead in about 7 dramas and none of them are bad! She's talented and I can't wait to see more of her in the future.

Zhao Lusi is a great actor I like her I like her smile she so pretty. Like the rest of the actors hand some guys. What I like of Mr. Lu Jin he love his mother but he never let her control its personal life and I like the way he handled it. Handsome.
I've always been impressed with Zhao Lusi's incredible acting talent. Every cdrama she stars in is very entertaining all because of her amazing acting skills. This is the first time I've seen Lin Yushen. His character is very charming which in turns make him very charasmatic and swoonworthy! In fact, I cannot imagine anyone else playing the roll of Lu Jin as Lin Yushen crushed it!

Lin Yushen and Zhao Lusi good chemistry. Of the two, Lin Yushen is my favorite. I like how he portrays the wealthy businessman (Lu Jin) aura...a touch of arrogance, confidence, etc., and how he fell in love with Shengnan. Watching it for the second time.
I am African American woman and I must say I've throughly enjoyed the movie. It was full of humor, drama and a little sadness. I also look forward to their next chapter. I have told all of my friends about the this drama. Well done!!!

Anyone who reading the comments to see if this drama is worth it, all I can say is you will love it. I’ve been on a Zhao Lusi marathon and this is probably my second favorite after Romance of Tiger and Rose. Amazing chemistry! Great and natural acting. Food porn and so many cinematography shots. Although there is an age and wealth gap, there is no power imbalance. Just very sweet and genuine love story. And the male lead character will not disappoint you, and the actor will win you over. I watch this series last because I don’t like age gap must this series is so well done that I kept rewatching it over and over.

I am in love with this drama, and the awesome comedic talent of it's leading actress, Lusi Zhao. I love her dramas. In this particular series, she has again, brought her incredible comic timing making it one of the funniest C-drama I've ever seen. I out right belly laughed SO many times, it was really a joy to watch. It helps that she has an incredible chemistry with her leading man, Lin Shen, whom, for someone so slight of build, packs a sexy punch into this drama! Lusi has chosen a 'grown-up' role this time and she plays it perfectly. This IS fun viewing!

I am halfway through this series and I love it. Just, Zhao Lusi is amazing! I love how adorable she is. I know in a lot of these she plays a similar character in terms of demeanor but she also does drama really well and she's a physical comedic actress when called to be. I cannot believe how young she is but I love her. And I love how her character, Shengnan plays against Lu Jin. He is hilarious as well, his facial expressions are everything. And once he committed to her I love how devoted he was and protective even against his mother. This series is just cute, funny and romantic.
Yes, I think when it was painful to watch her get treated that way at the dinner, it hit him how deep his feelings were for her.

Actually to me any job is an honorable one as well as necessary to the function of a business or it wouldn't exist. The way I'm sooooooooooo into age gap dramas is concerning and I ain't complaining....I just love 'em sooooooooooo much....
I must say this is a really cute, funny drama with a little bit of teary eyes moments for me. It talks about love, one side love, unconditional love. When you are in love age is just a number, when you are in love the status of your wealth mean nothing. I love that he is rich, but he is not cocky or stuck up. He is actually a very good person with a good heart. I love that she is poor, but she never stood low to let anyone step all over her. I love that she stand up for herself and did not let other people status control her. I must say even though the age gap is extremely big, she is such a good actress her chemistry is amazing with any leading male that she is with. Love the chemistry between them, all the cast member does amazing job, love the outcome for everyone. It’s an 9/10 for me.

Finished Ep. 10 and well this is one of the best C-Dramas I have ever watched! Script is hilarious. Both leads act very well with all their comedic gimmics. Their chemistry is undeniable too! This is what a romcom should be like. Thumbs up to Tencent! Hope to see more upcoming projects from Tencent with Lin Yushen and Zhao Lusi.
