    Very interesting didn't know they could grow from cuttings. I've seen them propagated via grafting & Airlayering.

      Air laying is the easiest method however this only works if you have a tree on hand, this method is on the more challenging site and so environment needs to be controlled.

      @@marielithlomera6248 often enough keep the moist, and use something like a plastic to keep the humidity high. Every other day should be good

    Thank you for this. I have heard that jujube cuttings will sometimes make shoots before roots and then use up all the nutrients stores in the stem. If I notice them making shoots early, should I cut them off so the plant can put more energy into rooting?

      Yes this can happen, I have not really tried removing the shoots before, this may work , but yes if they start growing too fast they will fail .

      Hi, if you have the jujube, you may want to try air layering instead, this method should be done in spring to summer or summer to fall.

    How long should they be in the small container developing roots before they are transferred to their own 1 gallon container?

      The conditions should be maintained up growth is looking healthy, and roots can be seen at the bottom of the pot, then you may upgrade the pot.
