One of my favorite parts of erha that I haven't seen anyone say is the chapter titles changed from "this venerable one _____" to "Shizun _____" Idk, it's a small detail but I really liked it, it's like how Mo Ran started caring about Chu Wanning more than himself (Also poor village girl confessed her love to Mo Ran while he was having a full on gay realization that he's in love with Chu Wanning😂😂)
Oh yeah, chapter titles are very important. Actually erha has three big arcs, with each of them having specific title name rules. [Shizun...] title comes into play once more in chapter 179, btw.
Its truly so funny reading how traumatised Mo Ran is by the dreams while Wanning is just thinking fuck that was hot, but also whats wrong with me for imagining that??
Also as a note I believe Wanning is seeing essentially the full scenes but without the guilt of being the person doing those things and also without knowing they actually happened so it makes them less upsetting

Chu Wanning is the Autism rep that I needed and this book made him better for me. I love seeing Mo Ran's growth and Chu Wanning seeing that growth and feeling proud. Also the two of them trying to suppress their feelings and failing is hilarious.

Everytime i remember the twists , i have urge the slap myself since book physically cannot do this to me but it makes me feel like I need to be slapped.
I paced myself with this one. I can see why they call it the farm arc. Its a more soothing, leisurely pace. A change from the last volume. But looking forward to the hijinks of next vol - 100% thwarting a wedding and more romance in the future.
This is a great part of the story. I really love seeing how they slowly change their mindsets and grow as characters. I won't say much but this will be a rollercoaster in next books😅

i dont think we will see (spoilersss ) the confession next book bcz it only has 350 pages ( like 11 - 20 chapter if i remember correctly ) so probably the only arc we will see the ye wangxi nangong si arc ( vol4 finished at chapter 154 and it means vol 5 will finish at near 179 which is the confession chapter )

I was fangirling , also somehow angry bcz they love each other but they cannot see, feeling horny all the entire arc like ENOUGH GO TO BED ALREADY DO THE PAPAPA. Chu Waning with cat ears is one of the best things that 2ha book 4 gave us next to all the fluff and spice.
The fact that chu wanning was kinda fine with mo ran seeing him taking a bath but when another person walks in he gets all flustered and embarrassed
