  • Rikers Beard interview Marina Sirtis at the 26th Sci-Fi Ball
    Feb 2020
Dedicated to Greg Brown who will be deeply missed.
(Sorry its a little dark when the camera is on Marina.
We only had seconds to setup before we had to start the interview.
The large window back lighting didnt look that bad at time of filming.)

Nice job! It is so good to see Marina out and about after her husband passed away so suddenly!

@@garyenwards1608 How do you know this? It's not nice to start unfounded rumors or spread disinformation regarding the Covid vaccine! I know for a FACT that Michael Lamper died on 8 December 2019 and that the US did not begin to distribute Covid vaccines until June 2020! Because of Michael's age and previous health conditions, he would not have been allowed to participate in trials or studies. So if that is the case, you need to provide proof! Anything else would be considered libel! 😡

You've been waiting YEARS to say that, haven't you?

I love the fact that she starts talking about enjoying shall we say, alcohol alternatives so openly. What a gal!

How are you guys going to seat your interview subject in front of a window, so that she is back-lit?!
That would be bad for any interview subject; but for one as remarkably beautiful as Marina Sirtis, it's criminal!

If you read the many reply comments I have posted. She wanted to sit there.
We got this interview free with minutes to setup. You don’t tell them they have to move if they don’t want too.

@@andycoopr - Ah! Understood. I admit that I did not read all the previous comments, as I probably should have done.
      Thank you for your explanation.

Sorry if that came over a bit short it’s just I’ve had many posts from people saying I don’t know what I’m doing even though I’ve explained :)

You did a great job in this conversation with the magnificent and vibrant Ms. Sirtis.

Definitely. Nothing makes a girl look older than when she goes for the “short and sassy” look. Keep it long please ma’am!

It's too bad that the videographer does not know anything about lighting.

Didnt you read the discription above?
Why do you feel the need to insult someone about their work publicly?
      What does it achieve?
I do know about lighting. Marina chose to sit with her back to the window.
We only had seconds to setup before we had to start the interview.
I didnt get chance to change things.
I wasnt happy about it but as Fans interviewing we are lucky to get an interview for free or at all.
Check my other video interviews where everyone else sit opsite with the windoe lighting
      behind the camera.

did you not even look in the eyepiece? Marina was so back-lit you can't see how lovely she is.
and one more thing, Audio? you know it's a thing, right?
can you not afford an extra DGI or other wireless Mic. systems.

Have you even read the many reply comments I have posted.
      She wanted to sit there.
We got this interview free with minutes to setup.
You don’t tell them they have to move if they don’t want too.
As for the sound there was a fifty mile an hour wind going on outside (which you don’t really hear after mixing).
And no I’m not made of money,
      I use what I have.
I’m a fan like everyone else there. We don’t turn down a chance like this.
If you don’t have anything constructive to say don’t say anything at all.
Your comment only shows how petty you are and (the sad life you must have) the fact you’re only here to try and bring people down as trolls usually do.
