  • In this video we are using the new pattern available from the Janurary 2021 Mystery Box. This soft sided brief case has two large pockets on the outside, an accordion gusset with center divider and large back pocket.

    Hi Arron
I am absolutely desperate to make this bag, is there any way that I can purchase the pattern online. I am in the UK.
I have only recently found your channel, and you are a great teacher, and also really funny.

Sir massive respect for you as you are one of my teachers :) but please take your camera off from auto focus...and auto exposure. Your video tutorials are pure gold. Thank you.

Aaron, I’m wanting to make my son a bag for his laptop computer/business and was wondering if this bag would work for that or if you have one you would recommend making for his business? I have the same skiving machine and was wondering if you put a double bevel on your blade to make it sharp? I’ve watch a TH-cam video on sharpening and the guy put a double bevel on his blade so was just curious. You make skiving look so easy, you don’t happen to have a video on sharpening these blade do you? I’m still in the learning stage with this machine but I love it. Thanks for your help

On this channel is a laptop bag video and also a quick video on the NP4. Often times the blade is not in the proper position and that makes folks think it is not sharp. Look for my video on the NP4 and that will explain more.

Hiya, I wish to make my own laptop flp cover case. But I'm starting from scratch without the aid of a die cut. Just have a scissors, clamps, chalk and upholstery sewing needles and thread. I'm just wondering how you would measure the laptop. Open, closed, somewhere in between? Also what lining would you recommend? Thanks so much.

You could line the front and back panels with bag stiffner and another leather.
