Art or not I don't know. It's not nice to compare eras but Smith is probably the best test batsman since Sobers if not since Bradman. Smith's batting style, however, is as ugly as it can get though he is mighty effective. As long as you are effective it doesn't matter if one's batting is ugly. E.g. MSD's defence is one of the ugliest ever but it gets the job done.
I like both but dravid make every ball in middle of the bat with confidence but smith is struggling a little bit when he score a run he dominate in next 30 balls

Its incredible how much of Smith's technique Labuschagne has absorbed, I'm glad they have different colour bat stickers or I would struggle to tell who was facing. Labuschagne really earned this Summer his humility and hard work to study from the best is very impressive. Scary to be saying this so soon but if Labuschagne is more talented than Smith and can work almost as hard, perhaps the student will have surpassed the master within the next year or two.

Smith's "struggles" are overblown. He's averaged 42.8 across 5 innings in this series, so far. I think most batsmen would be happy to be "struggling" in a similar fashion.
We think Smith is struggling but he think because usually he is very strong. By modern standards Smith is still really good right now
