@@FreddysGamingBenchmarks You are right. I was wondering because I don't see reflections in the screen as you usually get with glossy screens. What setup are you using?
just took a quick look, yes, with a locked 30 fps it should work as long as it doesn't suddenly escalate on the screen. Otherwise there will be fps drops
I have the lcd steam deck. What performance advantages does the beta channel have? I have very unstable framerate when i change from stable to beta because it changes from mesa 23 to mesa 24 for its drivers?
it doesn’t inherently have any advantages. Only advantages for specific games if they benefit from a change made in mesa in a more recent version. In my experience just stick with stable as I always have little issues when running the beta channel.
I don't use a beta channel, so I can't tell you exactly, I use the "main" channel with 3.7, the beta runs with 3.6... I've been testing with it since the release of version 3.7 and so far I haven't had any disadvantages compared to the stable or beta channel
I always have smooth frametime when i lock my fps on the stable channel. On the other hand, I also want to have experimental features like recording but mesa 24 is hindering me because the frametime and stutters are all over the place.
Woohooo

Are you using a matte screen protector?
No, I don't use any extra protection 🙈 Matt is cool, but I think it makes the picture too muddy :/

@ZIGxZAG1 Yes, that's the reason why I bought the 512GB OLED. I generally didn't want a matte display :) but I now have a 2TB SSD in there
have you tried high settings?

if I lock the fps under steam os 3.7 everything is stable :) but for testing it makes no sense for me to limit the fps bro
