Someone wrote an article online about what team Wunder would go to in the LCS. The article linked this video. Online news articles are garbage. You should thank them for the link.
@@alexursu563 So... We had Olaf vs Renekton where BB even solokilled him. Was it only once or was it more? We had K'Sante vs Ornn where BB... even solokilled him. And we had 2 K'Sante vs Renekton, where it's pretty favored for Renekton and BB still hardcarried one game of these 2. You don't seem to even have eyes. I wouldn't say Wunder got absolutely destroyed - but it's pretty obvious that BB was the better toplaner in the series.
Guys 2018 Wunder's G2 beat peak UZI's RNG - MSI champions, Asia's champions, World's favorites (for those who don't know). They went to Semi-finals and played vs IG better than Caps's FNC who went to Finals and were beaten by IG for the fastest Final in the World. Wunder and Perkz were insane combo. I was crying watching them.
IMO, 2019 FPX was a better version of G2, which is why it became a 3-0. All of the weird picks that Caps and cohorts had were countered by even stranger picks Doinb and friends chose.
G2 played a style that came from China… that was the issue - that’s why they always struggled against Chinese teams and beat Korean teams (Apart from DK)
@@PeoplePleaser578 Idk which year you mean. In 2019 at worlds G2 beat both DWG and T1 in knockouts and went 1-1 with Griffin in groups(and since it looks like Griffin ended first in the group, I assume they also lost a tiebreaker to them). They were lucky they got the Korean side of the bracket imo. They did not win a single game against China all year. They would've been smashed by IG just as well as FPX if they had to play them.
@@Arkanna96 They were 100% lucky that they got the Korean side of the bracket - They lost tiebreaker to Griffin which sent them to face Rookie DWG instead of IG. DWG notably had failed to perform on stage despite crushing everyone in Scrims. DWG then became DK and went off in 2020. If they had gone to the other side of the Bracket... they 100% lose to IG like they had Earlier in the year because IG could match them on Solo Lanes and had begun to ramp up as the tournament went on before losing to FPX. When I said DK I meant 2020 - Because DK were originally DWG or Damwon Gaming in 2019. They became DK or Damwon Kia in 2020. Now they are Dplus. Its very confusing I know xD. G2s record vs Chinese teams through 2019 and 2020 - 1 and 7. G2s record vs Korean teams - 12-6. They were massively favoured vs Korean teams but couldn't beat Chinese teams because the skirmishing style they played was something that came from China and was something they player better. Ironical Fnatic were actually better suited playstyle wise to beating FPX than G2 were xD.
@@PeoplePleaser578 Oh yeah, I know what you mean, I'm not too confused about the DK - DWG - DPlus changes cz I follow some LCK too, I just wasn't sure what 2020 had to do with the comment since the initial one was about 2019. Imo 2020 G2 had already lost some of their magic a little domestically and even more so internationally. More people started believing that the skirmishing & teamfights were the way to go after the 2 years where China dominated and Korea sucked and were getting better at it. I'm no pro and I know they talk about themselves like they were unbeatable revolutionaries, but srsly going to the loser bracket and to 5 games so much and having it overlooked cz "at least they won in the end" just never sat right with me. Not saying they weren't incredibly good especially with their backs against the wall, but just a little overrated imo. Still, credit where it's due, obviously when someone throws, the other person needs to catch and they were extremely good at that, but their early games were often really bad, they would be behind at 15 min and they outfought their way out of many losing games. Often on Caps's shoulders who was making some insane plays on carry champs. I also feel like bot lane had some champ pool issues and 2v2 laning issues that were more easily exploited in 2020 when ADC got more of their power back. 2019 was the year when ADCs really sucked for a while so the fact that Perkz is a midlaner and could play a bunch of weird picks his enemies didn't know how to deal with was a huge advantage. The rest of the time he was literally a Xayah onetrick. After mages got more common and people started learning how to deal with them and other ADCs got their power back, it wasn't so special anymore. Perkz is an amazing player and he certainly got a lot better at the adc role in 2020, but damn did he not win the friggin meta lottery with the timing of his role swap in 2019.
Someone commented something that puts it very well. If you say anything like what Emenes said on any other job (think of an office, or anything like that) Imagine what would happen to that person. They'd probably get fired. League has warped our perception of what is acceptable to say to other human beings, especially when you are in a position of influence like a pro player. Yes of course he has to be held to a higher standard as a pro player, I don't see how there's any argument about it.
Maybe talk about the emenes drama is first for the peope who dont know what are you talkign about ? I hate when i click on a podcast they talk about something and they dont give any context about that thing or what that thing is but only their opinion
Wunder basically perfectly explaining what has been happening at Fnatic for years and still very little changes. Poor communication. Terrible roster management. Radio Silence from coaching staff at key moments. Finger pointing. Like how has it been years and this hasn’t been fixed 🤦♂️ Caps said it when he left. Bwipo. Selfmade. Upset. Hylissang. Nemesis. Wunder. Like how many people leave and say the same things before something is done about it.
Yes its mostly the staff who causes these problems. They should get rid of Dardo first. Secondly, i think FNC staff focus on the wrong players when recreating new rosters. It feels as if they have their 'favourite' players they wanna keep & build around them. Even if those players are the ones causing bad mentality/synergy. Every time FNC rosters started to lose games, the vibes were getting worse really quick. Idk
@@xJokers27 Oh 100%. The issue I dont think Fnatic actually understand that. I think they have done recently - Like really since like 2019/2020 they have focused on the wrong players or the wrong issues. So for example 2020 - They got rid of Nemesis over Selfmade despite Bwipo and Hyli saying that they wanted to play with Nemesis again and asked for Selfmade to be kicked because he didnt fit with the team. Same as things like sticking with Humanoid and Razork when it was clear that the duo never really worked together and from everything that's been said - Humanoid just kind of gives up on the team and stops caring when they start losing. Like coming into 2023 they could have arguably replaced one of them (I mean they tried to get Elyoya, but again as we have seen this year, that is another super volatile personality who will tilt if things go wrong) like I said at the start of the year, they should have changed Humanoid but because of his "Highs" he is untouchable regardless of whether he reaches them. But like Fnatics management has been a problem for years and nothing has changed, so I don't know why I am surprised. I cant wait for next year where they inevitably get rid of Razork. Keep Humanoid. Get rid of Trymbi and Noah. Then the whole process starts all over again... rather than building around Razork.
@@PeoplePleaser578Idk many if your takes about the current roster absolute bullshit and were adressed multiple times by not only Yamato but the players themselves. Humanoid and Razork weren’t disfunctional. Razork had to make all calls and tried to force things because he felt he had to. Those things resulted in int plays. As you saw this Split they are very much able to play together very well. They had a lot of of 2v2 which they easily won. Fnatic already states they want this roster to stay the way it is. Its very unlikely there will be any changes in 2024. Why would you replace Razork or Humanoid if there are literally no better alternatives? Or do you want to tell me Vetheo is a better mid? Or fucking Elyoya who hasn’t performed above average in 2 years? While i agree with a lot of what you said about 2020 - 2022 i feel like you didn’t listen to what Wunder said or the actual fnc players.
@@hogi2599 They literally are not. Humanoid and Razork ARE dysfunctional - Anyone with half a brain can see that. Like as players, they don't work together, they are hardly ever on the same page and half the time it looked like a SoloQ game... Yamato has actively said that they had to band aid it during 2022 and that Upset and Hyli did a good job of doing so because they were gapping everyone and would just drag the team to play their way. Bro this split they have not played well together stop capping... results got better because the whole team improved - The team is still dysfunctional as ever. No they didn't - You obviously did not watch and just went "HUMANOID AND RAZORK ARE THE BEST 2V2 IN LOL" because that's what people do... they see the nameplates and have to blindly defend them, Fnatic specifically went away from playing around Midlane for this reason. Yamato specifically didnt play around Mid/Jungle for this reason. Well when you go through an entire season with them running it down game after game after game and literally not looking like they are even on the same page... why would you keep both of them? Bro I never said that Razork should be replaced. Fnatic were going to replace him with Elyoya because of his pre-existing synergy with Humanoid (Although hey apparently they didnt need to right because Humanoid and Razork are the best 2v2 mid/jungle in the league apparently xD.) Another fanboy comment "WHO IS AS GOOD AS HUMANOID" well when you see that Humanoid is the most inconsistent midlaner in the LEC and those "Highs" are not a consistent level. It doesnt matter whether he is better or not... as we have seen a 10000x over, just because you have better players. Doesnt mean that they actually work as a team (Looking Fnatic last year and Vitality this year as prime examples of that). Yes I absolutely would pair HIM with Vetheo; 1. We know that he has synergy with him and gets along well with him. 2. We have literally seen Vetheo solo carry a whole team to playoffs (Something you would not see Humanoid do) so its illogical to say he just isn't as good. 3. Do I want a guy on the team that tilts off the face of the planet and stops caring when the team loses a game? or because wouldnt play the way he wanted them to? 4. Vetheo fits better with how Fnatic actually want to play the game. He might not be as good a Laner as humanoid, but he is sure as hell a better roamer than Humanoid. If you want to play control mages and sit in lane for 20 minutes then Humanoid is your guy most of the time, but league isn't about that anymore. Vetheo is a slightly worse laner but a much better roamer. This is why G2 are always on top... because although Caps isnt a better laner than Humanoid - He roams more effectively and plays more champions than Humanoid does. Same with Vetheo - Worse laner. Better roamer. Plays more champions. I would rather have players that know how to spread their gold and pressure around the map... than a dude who exclusively plays in Lane, doesn't play around Vision and ints if the team dont play around him. Saying Elyoya hasn't performed above average in 2 years is literally a clown comment. Sure I would prefer to keep Razork because I think he has massively improved from where he was in 2022 but Elyoya has been a beast since he joined the league... Like what are you even talking about? Most proplayers and analysts agree he is absolutely insane, even if his Summer was the worst split he has had and even then he was still better than 80% of the league and he was playing on a much maligned Mad Lions with multiple lanes just flat out losing. No it feels like you didn't listen to anything Wunder said... Wunder actively said that Marek literally gave up on Scrimming/practicing and was okay with losing. Yamato and Mac have also spoken about him before how if he doesn't believe a player is playing the way he wants or the team isn't doing things the way he wants them to... he will just give up and stop caring. He is literally Rekkles of the Midlane but without the work ethic or the consistency and its mental that people think he needs to be protected and kept because of his "Highs" and the "Synergy he has with Razork" which has literally been Fnatics biggest weakness for 2 years straight even when Razork wasn't shotcalling and he had Hyli on the team. Humanoid is ultimately Lazy when things get bad... he stops scrimming, stops playing SoloQ and loses all interest in the game. Thats not really someone you want on your team in hops you can make him happy enough to play well. Like your whole rant is completely biased and ignored everything that Wunder and Yamato have said about the vibe within Fnatic and what caused a lot of the Breakdown IE Humanoids and Upsets clashing attitude towards practice, losing, etc and the entire principle of your argument is that Humanoid is completely faultless and its everyone else's fault around him. Do I want to see Razork back on this team next year? - Hell yeah. Do I want to see another year of Humanoid not giving a shit and inting half the games away? Do I want to see another year of weak Mid/Jungle 2v2 because they cant play together and don't communicate very well in game? - No. I wish people could literally just not see nametags and look at actual play. I wonder if the nametag said "Sertuss" and not "Humanoid" people would be more brutal and honest about how he has actually played over the last 2 years.
I treat the emenes situation like any restaurant situation , if cashier talks back to a customer , thats had , you have two options ask them to leave or get security , you dont go on a fking rant about it how the restaurants customers ate shitters
@@KappaChiino But like he put in a frankly rediculous amount of ads that have not the effect of me watching more ads but just me watching something else And then you pull up and are like "pay for this thing hehe" Mb i guess, i should just not watch at all and not communicate my preferences, for sure yamato is better off if everyone who isn't willing to pay for premium stops watching right :)
He's a great great player. The toplane goat of the west, and that's why he has this mindset. However I think he deflects blame a bit more than needed. And I understand why. Because he probably got a lot more blame in his timeline than he felt was justified. He knows he's good so, why are these twitter fnatic fanboys flaming him THAT HARD? I get it. But at the same time I don't feel like that's the best story. Wunder, to you personally, I think you can present it in a better way (and I don't know the story at all, it's not about that). When you say people weren't performing to the level that you wanted., that may be true. But clearly at the same time you weren't performing to your usual level either. Be it because of environment or team doesn't really matter. Because all of the other players were part of that too. They might underperform because of the same factors. I just think you're really funny and really good at the game but at the same time I also feel like you want to present yourself as honest. And to be honest, sometimes you have to be a bit diplomatic. Like, "they were bad, I was bad, we had some issues". Usually that's a cop out answer but in your situation I think it would've been nice to hear. Sorry for the rant.
Bwipo is not even in the same universe as Wunder....... It's obvious. Sorry but Bwipo should be in the running for most overrated players of all time. He took the NA paycheck as soon as he could and even stopped playing pro there as fast as possible because he knows he's not good enough. Please anyone explain to me why people rate him at all.
Because he went to world finals, was elite for several years, and has successfully played 3 of the 5 positions. Wunder is the western toplane GOAT, but Bwipo is actually a more versatile player. Slagging him makes you sound stupid.
@@ricobarth More versatile?? Than Wunder?? You are on serious cope dude. There is not a single category that they are comparable you're the one sounding stupid to even suggest that. The only reason Bwipo can call himself a worlds player at all is pure luck from Soaz broken hand, if that had not happened everyone knows Soaz would have performed the same if not better.
I thought Bwipo was actually a great jungler for a short while. He was a playmaker in team fights and if you can play your lane without being mega exposed I think that's fine.
Bro stop. Stop talking. Bwipo is literally one of the most versatile players in the LEC - He went to play in NA because of Hans and Bjergsen. He hasn’t played not because he has “given up” but because he has been fishing for teams and dealing with his own shit - He received multiple offers from EU teams but has wanted to make it work in NA because he enjoys it there. He didn’t play on TL because they wanted “Team Korea” and even with Summit feeding the first half of the season, they didn’t want to play Bwipo because of communication. Bwipo literally played 3 different roles as a pro on Fnatic and was successful in all of them. In his time as a toplaner… he was literally top 2 for the entire time, he was the only could who could even contest Wunder. As for him being bad - he was so bad he is the only non resident player to make no.1 on Chinese super server. He made worlds and played there because he played well 🤣 sure he got his opportunity because of Soaz but he had been playing ALL year long? Like you are acting like Bwipo walked in just before worlds and that was it… He was already playing, hell he had already played 2 roles on that Fnatic team before making worlds like what are you even talking about - Soaz would have done better? He would have got fisted against TheShy. Simple. This take is so beyond ridiculous it’s not even funny. Like it’s beyond troll.

So...
MY TOP LANER! THE ONLY TOP LANE GOAT!

Jokes aside I loved the video :) !

Fnatic were going to replace him with Elyoya because of his pre-existing synergy with Humanoid (Although hey apparently they didnt need to right because Humanoid and Razork are the best 2v2 mid/jungle in the league apparently xD.)
Another fanboy comment "WHO IS AS GOOD AS HUMANOID" well when you see that Humanoid is the most inconsistent midlaner in the LEC and those "Highs" are not a consistent level. It doesnt matter whether he is better or not... as we have seen a 10000x over, just because you have better players. Doesnt mean that they actually work as a team (Looking Fnatic last year and Vitality this year as prime examples of that). Yes I absolutely would pair HIM with Vetheo;

In 2019 the only toplaner that didnt get hard gapped(atleast in laning phase) was Alphari on GP.
