Yes, my name is Mark Zauner. My dad bought that bike brand new everything that a senior is telling you is true when the Harley dealership found out that my dad sent somebody else down there after he already got the bike at dealer was pissed so yes, I do remember that very well, I hope everybody enjoys my dad’s collection
Props to you my brother. Love The Zahner Family. You have some very cool and good people in your family, brother. Much love and respect from Sonny in New Orleans, Louisiana. PS. The Kaplans, as you already know, are awesome and good people to do business with. God Bless!
Hope your surgery went well and you are on the road to recovery. Awesome collection and amazing stories that you shared with Ken on camera. Love the Cowglide and many others in the collection. Take care and enjoy the ride ✌️
Kap senior, do a fundraiser or do donations, KEEP this cowglide, YOU DESERVE IT ! I’m in for the first 100.00$ God bless America and the Kaplan family !
An ‘89 Electra Glide Classic was my ride at the time and spotted a Cow Glide in my dealer’s showroom. Love at 1st sight, wallet popped on of my pocket spewing cash, not much cash but spewing none the less. Dealer wouldn’t sell it, I couldn’t afford it, so no joy. But it did plant the seed that day for an FLSTN and took me until 1996 to finally buy a FLSTN Heritage Softail Special. At the time they were not easy to get, I managed to do so only as I knew the dealership owner and family. It was, as you stated, perhaps the most beautiful motorcycle in the Harley line, then and now. Modified it heavily, friend just had to have it, sold and regretted it. One of the ones that got away, perhaps the one. Thanks for sharing, you never fail to transport me back to my youth; the channel’s a friggen time tunnel.
Nice Harley. Trying to save for a used motorcycle. Looking at an Yamaha Rz 500, 85 Harley Fxrp, and a Buell 07 Xb12ss. I agree it is what a Harley should look like. That crossover exhaust is unique. Love to hear it in person.
Ive said it before and ill say it again. The evo softail was the last bike produced that a person could ride and get an idea of what it was like to ride a "real harley". I love mine andill be biying at least a couple more. Good stuff.
Ken - I could not agree with you more, the Cowglide is pure HD to me as well and has a special place in my heart. I love your personal story with the Cowglide and the story with this particular Cowglide. If I had the spare money I would love to add this Cowglide to my collection, absolutely love them. I have a personal story with a 1994 HD FSLTN Nostalgia that my father purchased in 1995 when I was 17 going on 18. My father always had motorcycles (all brands but mostly HD) in his life and started me off with bikes as well. I like to say when he purchased the 1994 FLSTN it was a point in time in his life where he was going through motorcycles like a teenaged boy goes through girlfriends. He bought the bike barley used in 1995 and sold it 8 months later in the beginning of 1996 for a place in line on a New 1997 HD Springer. Both my father and I always missed the 1994 FLSTN Nostalgia and would drive by the house on occasion of the guy who bought the bike from my father. That man owned the Nostalgia from 1996 till July 19th 2022 on exactly my 45th birthday when I bought the Nostalgia back from him which is another story how that happened. The Nostalgia has 39,638 miles on it currently and is in excellent condition with many extras. Sadly my father passed away back in February of 2023 but I am happy that he was around to see me buy the Nostalgia back. Fortunately we have the original cowhide seats and bags that are in excellent condition as well and have barely been on the bike in its life, they are well packed away in a plastic storage box. Love all that you do Ken and thank you for sharing all of these amazing motorcycles and your life with us. I hope to make it out to your museum some day and check out all of the amazing bikes you have on display. God bless sir.
This is probably the most special bike I've ever seen in my eyes and only in my wildest dreams could I ever afford to buy it but none the less it's such a joy to be able to see it on your channel. I hope you find a way to keep it for all to see in your museum and not sell it to someone with more money than sense. Whoever gets to keep it though I'm sure it will be there baby.
The Zauners, were a very good family, of super cool people. That is one gorgeous bike. You bought your HD Cowglide, at the same time I bought my 93 Yamaha YZ 250. I was still 19. I bought it in late December of 1992. ML&R
What an AMAZING collection that gentleman had. Very impressive. Just when I think you presented the last gem, you release another heavy hitter. Just amazing. Can you link the video of Bakersfield? Thanks
Dang , I tried to buy that model in the 90s w/cow hide seat the dealership said i needed a co signer. I brought my pops w/me to look at new Harley s and to spring it on him to be my co signer , i couldn't believe he said No ,i had down paymentin my pocket, i think he was shocked to see how high the price of Harley davidson were. I still get a kick of that memory he walked around the shop telling me how he usedto be able to buy a gearbox for $25 bucks ,front ends for $50 strolled around looking at price tags pointing at parts of bikes telling me how cheap they usedto sell for. Ha,ha good ol pop's!

Incredible!
The owners of the dealership I work at has a low mile Cow Glide. It sits on a rack in the back warehouse.

Божественный звук ЭВО! ❤ Эво и Шовел это самый лучший звук Харлея! Каплан, привет из России!
Beautiful Bike! 4 stars
I just cannot believe my eyes.
Nice 👍
Красивый мотоцикл всех благ
The best and worst part is it’s a museum piece. It equally deserves to sit in another living room as it does to get ridden and enjoyed.
Take that over M8 any day better bike all day long .
Stunning bike. I'd love to see it without the passenger pillion pad
I had number 301,
Wow!!!
Why won’t my wife let me keep the bikes in the living room?
@greg, simple solution, keep the bikes and get rid of the WIFE ! Just a thought ? Lol 😂
