What amazing views! It was worth the effort. Well done, especially that the upper rocky part looked quite challenging. You'll need to get new poles from somewhere else...glad that there was someone around who could lend you another pair.
Trail folks are some of the best people you'll ever meet. Eric and Pat were more than happy to help out and we had a great time chatting and working our way down the mountain.
Ouch on the poles! Glad it worked out! Looks like a perfect day with the clouds high enough to keep the sun off you but low enough for a view! I've actually not been past little Bandera, so thanks for sharing.
I've broken or bent four sets of poles now, but never this quickly, this was only the second hike with them. The weather was perfect and since most folks stop at Little Bandera, I had the real peak all to myself. 😎
Thanks Chuck! I really appreciated the chance to walk around the lookout station and learn about the work being done to keep it in service. As an ex-Navy guy I especially liked the story about the Army Rangers. 😎
Wow that first shot with you above the cloud level was so awesome. I totally wasn’t expecting that. Congratulations on the summit. The weather looked great for filming. I liked and subscribed. 👍
Wow, kind of hard to hike. But you looks great. The views are totally worth it. It’s amazing the sea of clouds 😍❤️❤you really made it👍👍Just love it, awesome sharing 👍👍👍
It looked pretty easy at the beginning with the platform / bridge and the waterfall. The moderate parts looked hard. Hard looked extreme, lol. 1 foot elevation for two feet forward is ALOT! Sucks that your poles broke.
Definitely a thigh-burning hike up in the last third of the trail. I've bent or broken a total of four sets of hiking poles now. I'm a little harder on them due to my prosthetic leg forces me downhill a little faster than is safe so I tend to put more pressure on them and use them heavily.
Awesome! The fog just makes it that much cooler!
It was as if Mt. Rainier was floating on snow or clouds. 😀

Nice hike up, great when you got above the clouds. Nice when only the peaks are sticking up above the clouds. Thank you for sharing 👍
Yeah, I was worried that I'd be in clouds the whole way. 💨🌬🌬
Such a beautiful solo adventure my friend, gorgeous shots and narrated part is simply amazing!
Thanks! I've been working on creating videos that give the viewer the feeling of the hike.

Thanks for watching! The best views often require the hardest trails, but always worth it. 😎

Thank you! It was a thigh burner that's for sure, but yes, very worth each step. 😀
That's a leg burner for sure.. wow. Quite the view though.
Thanks for the video brother
No problem 👍 All the best views are leg burners.
Awesome video. This is added to my list now
Awesome! Thank you!
