@Christopher Browne And what exactly makes you think that I don't see Galaxy's Edge that way? Do you know how much time of my life I've spent on Star Wars? Do you know how much I want to go to Galaxy's Edge and Star Wars Celebration, but I cannot afford it, because I'm 16 and live in Bulgaria and my parents cannot afford this either! Those people aren't the only ones, who dedicate their lives to Star Wars. I am pretty sure that this 6/7 years old girl hasn't watched the Star Wars movies as much as many other fans. I don't think that those people are the worthiest!

I was totally blown away when I visited Galaxies Edge. From little bits of story where storm troopers are on a stage and given a mission then they go out into the crowd searching for rebels, to them holding you at gun point while they check you out. Theres plenty of other things going on too. The Millenium Falcon was a sight to behold. Its incredible. One bit of advice, play. All the people there are there to make you feel like you are in Star Wars, so play. Be a rebel, interact with the actors. If you don't you'll have missed one of the best things about it.
I'm an original star wars kid, how do you think I feel, I suggested this 20 years ago, but Disney is a little SLOW AT EVERYTHING!! I also suggested PIRATES of the Caribbean moviesBUT LIKE I SAID THERE VERY SLOW, AT USING REAL IMAGINATION!😂🚀🛸🤖👽I'M STILL WAITING FOR THE FUTURE, to get here!
Not sure why but Star Wars stuff makes me cry more often then anything else. I am sure I will have tears in July of joy seeing the Falcon for the first time. I am guessing I will not be alone. I hope the Imagineers and construction workers get to appreciate that they have literally made something that millions have dreamed about see for decades.
I remember during 2009 by getting sick because of The H1N1 i had to be kept in quarantine in my house, and i was like 12/13 yrs old, just View some of the animated series but never saw the movies. By gotten sick and by a marathon of the movies in the T.V i got the chance to see All the Star Wars Movies and I fell in love with the Saga, became a great fan of it. See that now there is a whole park about it makes me happy and i hope to get the chance of visit one of the Two Galaxy's Edge some day and have the experience of how could it be to be inside a planet of the Star Wars Universe
Thanks for sharing. The video perfectly encapsulates the timeless appeal of not only Star Wars, but the Disney parks in general. It's a wonder to see something that people of so many diverse ages & backgrounds can come together to experience & enjoy.
This got to me deep inside. I couldn't hold back the tears. One day, I'll be back at home at Disneyland and now, at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge! See you soon and May The Force Be With You!
I just got back from visiting galaxy’s edge. I was really impressed with the world building. It really felt like you were walking through an ancient city rather than another part of Disneyland. One thing I was excited to hear was the music that John Williams wrote for the park. So it was a bummer when all I heard was the “drone” music at the entrance and that’s it (which had a cool vibe but didn’t really feel like Star Wars). It gave the park an eerie feel when the rest of the park always has some theme music playing. Am I the only one that noticed that?
Awesome, just awesome reactions. As a fan of Star Wars when it came out in 1977 this is just awesome. How can you not have a lump in your throat and tears in your eyes seeing and being part of this?
I can’t wait to experience this. Star Wars has been my entire life have a huge LEGO collection of nothing but Star Wars I go to all the opening nights of each movie I just can not wait to experience this!!
It's nice to know that I'll never be able to visit it due to my anxiety. This would be great to see in person but I can't handle a crowd larger than around 10 people. I just cease up and need to get the hell out of there. Wish there was a way in order for me to see it the same way those people did where there are literally like 5 people around, if that. Being a Star Wars fan for many years, trying to go to autograph signings, events and meet the celebs, just makes me sad knowing that I won't get that chance. I couldn't even handle the small events.
I am so happy that these families had a chance to experience this! When I was a youngling my father told me the stories of StarWars and also instilled in me the jedi code. John Williams' musical scores touch the depths of my soul as much as the stories do. I really hope that this land sparks the greatest reaches of each human's character and ignites the oneness that the stories represent. We need this more than anything now. The StarWars being I most associate my own character with is The Daughter. Her Kaiburr Crystal attunement color was white.
