Leo Wu's performance in Love Like the Galaxy(2022) was even better than The Long Ballad(2021). Dilraba is so much older than him, the romantic part didn't seem as real as it did in LLG, where Zhao Lusi is only a year older than him. I can't wait to see him in dramas with more than superficial kisses. He has acted since he was 5 yrs old but is just now getting to the age of good romantic parts. I loved Xiao Zhan's work in The Wolf, and especially loved the look they gave him in the beginning, very rustic, with 5 o'clock shadow. What I love about Liu Yuning is that he isn't one of the pretty boys. He has progressed very well in his acting, considering he started late, with no formal acting training. He did great in Heroes and his latest, Journey to Love. And he is the master of drama OST. Getting away from the pretty boys in costume dramas, I love Jing Chao and Mark Chao. Talk about using facial expressions and eyes to emote feelings! And recently found The Rebel Princess, with Zhou Yi Wei. Wow!
LeiLei isn't mediocre in modern dramas. He's actually much, much more natural in modern dramas because those characters are more realistic types. He's very versatile and can play in both. He gives off some of the most intense emotions in his acting, whether it be costume dramas or modern ones ❤

In costume dramas, he has done both more youthful characters(Xiao Yan/Baili Hongshuo, etc) as well as mature ones(Ashile Sun and Ling Buyi). His characters all look and act very different, thanks to his abilities.

I have found and watched 7 of his series e.g. Love Like the Galaxy (my fave and watched it 19 times), The Long Ballad (watched 3 times) and Fights Break Sphere (watched it 11 times so far). I cried with him during "Cross Fire" when he found out, he couldn't change the outcome of his brother's death. I even watched that without English subtitles because it was too darn good. Sadly, I haven't been able to find it since, it disappeard from TH-cam. The Long Ballad when his mother dies... oh my gosh that was filled with sorrow, grief, hate and everything in between. Brilliant actor and he has been working for so long.

Nobody beats Xu Kai in both historical and modern drama. He's the best and the only Chinese actor worthy of my following. He is on a league of his own, other Chinese actors look like the same, but Xu Kai is uniquely super handsome and a versatile actor. No one compares!

He was incredible in that one. Blew Long Ballad out of the water. His acting and facial expressions when he takes vengeance on his uncle was oscar worthy, he rose up after slitting throat like the angel of death. I think I held my breath through that whole scene. And his acting when he says his real name for the first time in over 10 years had me crying so bad I had to pause it to calm down. But his dedication to preparing for the roles that lead to his epic fight scenes will forever stay with me. I remember thinking, I see fight scenes in all these movies BUT THESE are so realistic and brutal looking. It’s like I felt every hit. Also, to person who did this video, you added one scene from galaxy for ballad. It’s the one where you mention his dedication and physique, the scene of him sitting in white shirt that’s unbuttoned in front of doc is galaxy. Just wanted to give you heads up, no hate 😊

You spotted it! Yes! How could it be missing! His wonderful chemistry with Zhao Lusi 😍
He was incredible in that one. Blew Long Ballad out of the water. His acting and facial expressions when he takes vengeance on his uncle was oscar worthy, he rose up after slitting throat like the angel of death. I think I held my breath through that whole scene. And his acting when he says his real name for the first time in over 10 years had me crying so bad I had to pause it to calm down. But his dedication to preparing for the roles that lead to his epic fight scenes will forever stay with me. I remember thinking, I see fight scenes in all these movies BUT THESE are so realistic and brutal looking. It’s like I felt every hit. Also, to person who did this video, you added one scene from galaxy for ballad. It’s the one where you mention his dedication and physique, the scene of him sitting in white shirt that’s unbuttoned in front of doc is galaxy. Just wanted to give you heads up, no hate 😊

And i wasn’t just encouraging him, that comment went out to all actors who put in so much dedication to their art whether it be working out or doing schooling to improve acting, etc, I hadn’t finished video at the time I wrote this comment I had paused it. Also, I just started watching cdramas on Viki about 2 months ago so I’m not familiar with most actors yet or their dramas, but yes I noticed she mentioned dramas for each actor. Also, i noticed zhao lusi chemistry with every actor she’s worked with so far, in the movies I’ve watched with her which isn’t all yet. But from ones I watched I felt she had best chemistry with Wu Lei.
