      I do like your videos but to be honest I would have preferred listening to you guys talk about the food your eating while you are eating it instead of a voice over though fun video all the same.

    Great to have another Those Two Brit video. It was so posh and looked enjoyable. I do love hearing the history of the Hotel.

    At first I thought Joel was going to wear his sleeveless gymshark t to the poshest tea in Brighton. 🤣 Crisis averted.

      John Ley - Now that you mentioned that in your comment, your right it does remind me of it too. Except it’s on a really large lake and everyone has an American accent lol 😂.

    I've been watching Joel and Lia for years, and only just realized you had this second channel. All the same feelings, but less of the .....silliness. But this had just enough silliness. I had tea in Victoria Canada a long time ago. It looked like you had a nice afternoon.

    YES to Thai Massage! It is like magic! Something about they way they move your limbs around made me feel so energized and alive all over, and I love that they keep you partially covered throughout. Nice for modesty, but also otherwise I get chilly! lol!
    Afternoon tea + Thai massage may be my new favorite treat! ; - )

    Love seeing my two favorite Brits have a nice tea by the sea. And can I just say, What. a beautiful hotel. So historic and sooo British! Love that you got a couple's massage as well. Living your best lives! And Joel, I'm sure since she was a viewer, the masseuse probably loved all your wobbly bits lol. What a posh holiday with the best TH-camrs on the platform! Love you both!

  • @kareenvu1568

    Ohh! those tea sandwiches look like the real thing! I'm so hungry now!!
    Did you need to book in advcance to have seats by the window in the Victoria room?
    It's really cool that you did close-ups on every dish you had: we could see the texture and appreciate how moist the scones look.... wow.
    If I ever go to Brighton again, I'll definitely go and have that. 29 pounds is much cheaper than I had imagined this to be. I thought it'd be closer to 100 pounds.

    Thanx guys, awesome vlog. I'm a Tik Tok'er, looking at the comments are serious vibe. Everyone's grammar so perfect, punctuation, ... just funny. I'm glad I wasn't eating or drinking anything when the price was said. I would have had cleaning up to do if I had. I would not pay that much for anything less than a full meal where I live in Texas, and a lot of times, not even then. I saw that another commenter from LA said she thought it was reasonable, but it downright scared me that you would pay that for afternoon tea. 32 GBP is better for 2 people, but it's still a bit much for my taste. It does look delicious, but that price is hard to stomach, so to speak.

    I don't know how Inland Revenue business taxes work, but in the US you could deduct the cost of your afternoon tea, or any meal, if you used the video in a money making project. Which You Tube is for you. Also deductible would be you travel costs; e.g. lodging, mileage, and other expenses. I hope you can take those business deductions.

    I have a few questions even though it isn't about tea I thought this would be a great place to ask and maybe you guys could make a video about it.
    So I have watch Zoella who is from Brighton for a while and Cherry who does Harry Potter videos and you guys and I noticed a few things -- do people in the UK not have closets in their bedrooms unless they really rich like Zoella, becasue both you and Cherry seem to either have racks or you have to build one from ikea ... 2 it seems that every room in a house has a door no open doorways.... [by no means am I being rude just noticed this and wanted to ask]

    • @jwb52z9
      @jwb52z9 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Built in closets aren't really a thing in a lot of Europe and the UK because the buildings are so old. People didn't have attached built in closets back when most places in these countries were built centuries ago. People would have free standing wardrobes, which is how the rest of us got the word for our stash of clothes instead of the furniture. When you moved, you'd take your literal wardrobe with you in the piece of furniture. The thing about the doors is also a regional difference, even in the US, depending on where and when the house/building was built. A lot of houses in the American South won't have a room without a door, unless it's maybe a kitchen or a dining room in a smaller home. Some houses won't have doors to the utility room either.
