Are you please able to tell me how to pair/connect to the base unit. A while ago our battery ran out and we finally bought one and now it won’t connect to the base unit. And I can’t find one TH-cam video on how to do it to a TELSTRA V850 cordless phone.
WHY ON earth are the light on the back, when you can't see them, lol.. No wonder they are giving them away. the wi fi doesn't work properly.. Smart Modem? Lol
so how do you enable the 4G back up to come on straight away? the point of this $700 modem is that it should kick over to the 4G when the internet goes down with little to no interruption yet my one take 5-10 mins to switch over.
Who else is still paying for this smart modem but in return you get 4g and not 5g ( cause I am ) and they still not picking up my calls. haha isn’t life fun! 💀😂
This device is pure garbage. I can't even reach half of the speed I'm paying when I'm using this device. I'm on a premium plan and I can't even get to 20mbps on his device. I'm using my own router and not this garbage. the only reason I'm not {YET) throwing this device in the bin is because of the emergency mobile internet.
This thing is just a router yeah? The NBN connection box is actually the 'modem' and this thing is just a router? I've got a mesh router already and Telstra tried to tell me that I have to use this thing....
You can restart the modem by turing it off and wait for a few minutes before turning it back on, that usually helps. If the light is still blue, you must check if your cables are on the right places, try doing a hard reset as well if you must. If still not connecting, you must call telstra, there must be a problem with the modem or the NBN.

Once upon a time, Telstra was good not now. What I get a lot is phone calls from hackers and I would like to know how they got my silent phone number in India or the Philippines?
I can connect to the internet but have limited access. I can do a google search but i can't navigate to any of the web pages, they just time out. Does this on Apple and android devices. Bank app times out yet youtube can run no problems. No issues like this prior to FTTP. Telstra can't help?
I have a faulty device, the lights turn green & then drop out. My old modem works fine. The technician who was going to come last week obviously got lost; still waiting, no call back. TELSTRA CUSTOMER SERVICE is like unicorns.....does not exist.

I done that over and over, NBN came over, said they fixed my connection, still couldn’t connect. Turned out modem was faulty (in which I was on the phone for an hour) finally just received the replacement modem and I’m having the same issue again. Sigh.

search 'telstra smart modem as 4g'. i just bought gen2 and use boost mobile.it's working ok. 50+/30+
