I am not an AP person but THAT Supersonnerie looks and sounds gorgeous; and I am an audiophile, specifically a headphile (headphones)! d^_^b
And it would have been interesting to see how far the sound can be heard. You told us that the watch's melody was very powerful so I expected you to show us a recording with the camera and microphone placed 2 meters away from the watch. Still really nice video like always :)
Quite difficult to capture like you mention, but please trust me on it ;)

Audemars Piguet may send Jules Audemars minutes repeater to my office just for testing.... what a work of art. Minute Repeater watch is on my bucket list...

I am surprised nothing was said about the material composition of the gongs or the resonator itself. I am under impression that to achieve really harmonic sound from a metal component one needs to mix it with all sorts of precious ingredients such as gold or silver. The same way the church bells were cast 100s of years ago.
Actually the gongs are made from "normal" material used on other minute repeaters, it's really the sound board architecture which really makes the difference.

4:37 Apparently AP uses Autodesk Inventor to design their movements
as these are hand made does that mean the each watch will have a slightly diffrent sound to each other?
Well now they can really do what do they want basically with the technology they've developed.
Well, with the way these watches are progressing, soon we will have a mechanical MP3 player on the wrist ? I would just put a disc with melody and let it play that music.

Hi sir, if you don't mind, I'm looking for my first watch because I can only "see" time with analog watch and not digital so I finally want to get a watch. Can you let me know if AVI-8 Hawker Hunter AV-4052-03 is a good watch to buy that can read time easily and last long? I can't afford a expensive watch and this watch is already a bit burden for me. Not going to buy a watch as a status or so, just buy it as a tool and good style that looks good on me.
To be honest, don't know this watch, the design is cool if you like aircraft related watches, but don't know the quality of it, looks obviously industrially made, so it's something totally different, but for the price I guess you don't risk too much.
Why the case back is not a see through one?
Il y a pas mal de résonance lorsque tu parles, je trouve ça un peu dommage parce que ça contraste beaucoup avec le son des interviews et j'ai l'impression que la qualité sonore s'en trouve amoindrie... N'y a-t-il pas moyen de la limiter? A moins que cela ne soit fait exprès. (For english speakers: There are some resonance when you are speaking and i found that kinda disturbing).
Le soucis c'est qu'on n'enregistre pas dans un vrai studio, d'où cet effet non désiré... mais avec le micro cravatte c'est déjà nettement mieux qu'avec la perche!

All right, get the point and we did lower the music for this passage and will simply take it off for next vids, but just wanted to say that there is no real "melody", just two notes; one for the hour, one for the minutes and a mix of the two for the quarters.

Since the supersonniere has intrekit pieces it the calibre of the watch would be damaged gshock has the tech to protect their watches so why not g shock x ap
It was hard to hear the watch chime with that awful background music playing the whole time. Nonetheless I was impressed.
Please stop the music so that we can better ear the chime !
