Dude, you and I are very much alike. I am a 53 year old IT manager and I have bought over 400 games with campaigns and rpg elements that require not only hours of play but hours of reading the instructions. You name it I probably have it. I love all these games that you just mentioned but its coming to the point where you need to be a professor to understand some of these games and trying to find the time is near impossible. But all of those titles you mentioned, I have. Don't give up on them. They are great once you get to them. I recently bought everything for Arena the Contest and its expanison Tanares Adventures off eBay before I even knew about the Ultimate Tanares Edition. This game is amazing! Because I was so impressed with it, I went all in on Dragori Games' Odalin Dungeons of Doom. It helps if you can locate a lot of the rulebooks in PDF. I have pretty much my entire collection of rulebooks in PDF on my Google Drive. Makes it easier when they are portable and you can read wherever you are and have a few minutes.

Wow I would say we are very much alike. Yeah Cth f works wonders when looking rules up on a pdf. I will say I like the tactile feel of reading the rules but I do need to look at pdfs more. I’m definitely not giving up on these games but man it’s frustrating sometimes. I went all in on Odalin and Blood, then canceled both when I started reading Tanares. Just way too many hours. Thanks for watching and it’s good to know I’m not alone on this island…lol

@@Thebrewgeek1 Oh you are defintely not alone. Believe me. There are so may times I want to pull one of these monsters out and play but set up time is long, the space I need is ridicluous, I have to dig out 4 or more boxes of stuff, trying to locate a rule is near impossible without a searchable PDF and by the time all is said and done, its been 2 hours and you've accompished nothing. This is great when you;re entire life is a game developer and all you do is game. But when time is limited and so is space, its a problem to get the ambition to start on these games that you so want to dive into.

@@joefell5311 you said it. Also good point time is always the issue. All I hear online is these games are expensive, and I agree they are (some of them) but time is the most expensive currency. I can always make more money.

Between Dungeon Universalis, Dungeon Crusade, Hexplore It, Dungeon Degenerates and a bunch of solo RPGs, I feel like I have enough really big games, and I'm not sure what else I'd really want. I know there's other good stuff, but I'm sorta maxed out for a bit.

Hexplore it is one that I keep holding back but I’m very interested. Dungeon Degenerate is an absolute gem and I have everything for it (except the metal minis). I will never get rid of it. The art is so cool and the gameplay is unique and actually really good. That game is very close to perfect!
