Maya has the best flow, she knows how to chop it up, Cocona is a beast on the mic, she's like a 90s emcee. Jurin is lyrical and has a strong personality. Harvey is the Missy Elliot of the group, she has the catchphrases you remember. Great reaction....and yes, wanted more Hinata too. LOL

There was a fan who spoke with COCONA's family at the live venue in Japan. COCONA had wanted to shave her head for a while, but had been stopped because it didn't fit the concept of the song. This time, she finally got the OK and was able to get the hairstyle she wanted.

The song’s structure being brought up is actually an extremely valid critique about the state of idol music atm. More and more it feels like we’re just listening to each member in a group sing and/or rap one right after the other. It’s getting monotonous especially since bridges are being phased out and harmonies are a thing of the past. It’s making songs very one-dimensional.
What saves “Woke Up” (and XG in general in my opinion) from being just another idol song is that the girls show us a different side to their flows each time like the rapline’s first verse is markedly different in delivery than their second, even “Woke Up” has a semblance of a bridge (Juria’s verse may be a flow but it still surprisingly feels kind of like a bridge like especially the line her and Hinata sing together,) the girls do in fact know how to harmonize, and while adlibs aren’t used here really they are heavily featured in the vast majority of their songs.
Exactly it’s refreshing to see other idol fans who feel this way… bring the musicality back to the music!!!
Not gonna lie that Alaskan Huskie mask dude had on was the creepier than the MV. 😂 I say it out of love though.😅
XG is usually pretty fair with their line distributions but it shifts from song to song. My guess is we’re gonna get a vocal heavy song soon where Hinata, Chisa, and Juria get the bulk of the lines.
