True… Also, something else to consider is she is growing and evolving as a human. Our voices changes as we get older and she was a kid when they began and she’s in her early 20s now. 🤷🏻♀️ I’ve personally never been annoyed by her voice, possibly because I knew was her speaking voice as well, it just added so much texture to the overall sound of the group to me

Keeping up w kpop it’s exhausting cause all you hear in the news is stories of mistreatment of idols by their management and horror stories of being forced to do things. So it’s such a breath of fresh air to see the XG girls thriving and really being listened to by their management. Like how cocona came to a mutual agreement to shave off her hair, and how the girls don’t seem to have any strict diet being enforced. I only have an outside perspective but the girls look healthy and happy and it makes me proud to support jakops.
Harvey is XGs MSG. When she sprinkled all over the track weather u notice or not she makes everything better and gives XG their unique sound. Hinata is the queen of most XG adlibs and bridges the low tones of the rap lines and the high tones of the vocalists.
I find hinata to be so underrated. I think when people talk vocals they tend to praise juria and chisa, but leave hinata out, when really it’s the 3 of them combined that really make the harmonies work so well

Yes her voice is really unique and that's one of the main reason why i like her a lot, i really love her unique voice a lot. But a lot of people are really hating on her because of the voice, they keep on saying they don't like her voice, her voice sounds annoying, her voice sounds immature and all, but that's how she talks and it's her natural voice, it's not like she's faking it. So i get why they are trying to change the voice so that haters would shut up. And now her voice has totally changed and people are now saying her voice have improved. But honestly with this new voice of her it's not her real voice but she's changing the voice for people. And i seriously feel bad for her because it's not her fault. It's just sad that people cannot accept her real self. She has to change her real self for people to accept her.

Saw them Saturday and Sunday in Yokohama. They were amazing!! They remixed some of the songs. Imagine Shooting Star with heavy guitars and Left Right with a Latin flair. They opened the concert with Woke Up and the whole arena went crazy!!! Please see them when they come to a city near you. For the U.S., they’re going coast to coast in October. In the meantime they’re hitting Chile and Mexico for the It’s Live music festival before starting the Asian leg of the tour. By the way, when the crowd calls for an encore, they howl!!!

Absolutely. I really haven’t seen any other group with such good group chemistry, each girl brings their own unique flare while also being able to blend in & match each other’s voices. What you are hearing isn't really adapting as a response to the critiques. They're evolving and leveling up, to me Harvey sounds the same as her amazing self I think she's just getting older and more focused. She can still hit that higher register because that's her normal speaking voice, but she's been playing around with her sound since the very beginning. Maya is the one that needs paying attention to because she's becoming a force to be reckon with. Her flows are just getting better with each new drop. Jurin's play on words are seriously getting complex as if her verses are like inception, references on inside of references. The double on her skirt and the Tokyo drift with 48 laws of power goes deep. Coco is like the cute grimy assassin ready to pounce on you alluring you into a false state of adorable waiting to cut you. I could see the 3 vocalists are changing things up, first testing some verses dishing out melodic spit but I won't be surprised if they start going into the Linkin Park vocals/rap territory. They already prepped their fans a small sample with a rock version of Shooting Star and Spanish guitar version of Left Right in their tour set list. Makes me wonder what the next drop is going to be. They can flip the script and just drop a purely traditional K-Pop song that takes the genre back to the OG 90's. Who knows.

Dear ACE, I wish you a very happy birthday, a little late. I think we're all better off using the X-POP genre name for XG. They are light years away from the K-POP genre, we'll leave that to the other groups. Their music is such that you need more, and if you listen to it, you will listen to it ten or a hundred times, because it is so catchy. Crystal clear vocals, fantastic rap verses and fantastic dance choreographies. I looked at about 50+ reactions to the new single ("Woke Up") alone and everyone was amazed at how good they were, and many of them who just heard them for the first time reacted to their other songs. They are my biggest favorite, there is so much content about them that I hardly have time for anything else. Cocona leveled up, this new look suits her very well. The fact that all the girls rapped in the new song really surprised me, but I also loved Chisa, Hinata and Juria's parts. Maya and Harvey are incredibly good and of course Jurin was also fantastic as she break in the wall in the football helmet at the beginning. The video and the music, everything was incredible. Simon's entrance at the beginning of the video was also a historic moment. However, apart from them, there is another girl group that I am really looking forward to, if everything is true, the 1st mini-album will finally be released next Monday. And they are the Badvillain, if I saw it right, your eyes really lit up from them. Today they released a video about them, their names and some information, along with footage of their dance instructors teaching. There will be 2 more preview videos before the release on Monday. I agree with you. Constructive criticism is good and it may help you to improve. But some are doing the opposite which is destructive and they're just simply hating on these girls. Trying to accuse the with cultural appropriation, stealing (their covers) and trying to be kpop etc. Also, invalidating their talent & skills simply just because they didn't write their songs. Which is unfair for them, when they do work hard to improve themselves every comeback they made. Writing your own song is really great, but to force it to everybody? And use it to invalidate an artist? I think it would only cause to make artists and companies to hide and lie.
Hope you had a fun birthday. Their English is improving as they study and perform more, with the exception of Maya who was fluent coming into the project. Remeber English is their third language. In American interviews Maya is the only one to respond in English while the other speak Japanese. Also keep in mind the can also read and write in Korean, not just speak it, which they also had to learn while training in Korea. Korean is important be able to communicate with the support staff, as well as the early promotions on Korean TV shows and doing interviews. You can see them speaking Korean in their two Korean Reality TV shows XG's Three Meals A Day and X or Go. Highly recommend watching those shows. The girls are funny and you get to see how much of a family they really are including Simon

They are more of an international group they sing and rap in English, Japanese and Korean they were trained in Korea but they are Japanese they are more of an international group that means that they can play on the same field as Cardi B and they do not need Cardi B to be on a track they’re doing just fine they’re breaking records without Cardi B or any other American female rapper! They have a sold out world concert and they’re coming to the United States this summer and they are selling out their albums their merchandise and their concert tours they just started and believe me they are going to break records that even Cardi B will not be able to reach! And in my opinion as an American and also as an older American who is an OG of hip-hop they are putting to shame the Cardi B‘s and the Nicki Minaj ‘s in the rap game they are cadence and flow is so much better than either one of those two artists I just mention no hate just keeping it real and factual here because technically when was the last time that Mc Nicki Minaj and Cardi B went on a world tour! I don't see the issues with Harvey's voice. She kinda reminds me of Bizzy Bone from Bone Thugs N Harmony. He had the higher pitch or tone but it suited the group well? I can explain it to you more or less, everything comes from people who do not understand or do not want to understand that music evolves, this group calls its genre Xpop because it has a mix of several genres such as Hip Hop, R&B, K-pop J-pop , and they just presented a rock version of shooting star, the majority hate them because they debuted in Korea without identifying themselves as kpop and it hurts their liver that they have Korean staff and composers and they don't want to identify themselves as kpop, I don't know if you remember a few years ago or maybe you are too young to remember it, but there in Puerto Rico a movement emerged that mixed reggae, salsa bachata and even merengue, and I don't know if he started it, but he was the one who popularized it, his stage name? Daddy Yanky, in principle no one gave a cent for that subgenre of reggae and they saw it as a variation of salsa or reggae itself, but see now where that genre is positioned, even kpopis make collaborations with them, the huiman being by nature are usually suspicious of what they do not understand, give them time and if the group does things well as they do today, surely the world will remember them in the future as the creators or innovators of a musical genre called Xpop

What you are hearing isn't really adapting as a response to the critiques. They're evolving and leveling up, to me Harvey sounds the same as her amazing self I think she's just getting older and more focused. She can still hit that higher register because that's her normal speaking voice, but she's been playing around with her sound since the very beginning. Maya is the one that needs paying attention to because she's becoming a force to be reckon with. Her flows are just getting better with each new drop. Jurin's play on words are seriously getting complex as if her verses are like inception, references on inside of references. The double on her skirt and the Tokyo drift with 48 laws of power goes deep. Coco is like the cute grimy assassin ready to pounce on you alluring you into a false state of adorable waiting to cut you. I could see the 3 vocalists are changing things up, first testing some verses dishing out melodic spit but I won't be surprised if they start going into the Linkin Park vocals/rap territory. They already prepped their fans a small sample with a rock version of Shooting Star and Spanish guitar version of Left Right in their tour set list. Makes me wonder what the next drop is going to be. They can flip the script and just drop a purely traditional K-Pop song that takes the genre back to the OG 90's. Who knows.

Dear ACE, I wish you a very happy birthday, a little late. I think we're all better off using the X-POP genre name for XG. They are light years away from the K-POP genre, we'll leave that to the other groups. Their music is such that you need more, and if you listen to it, you will listen to it ten or a hundred times, because it is so catchy. Crystal clear vocals, fantastic rap verses and fantastic dance choreographies. I looked at about 50+ reactions to the new single ("Woke Up") alone and everyone was amazed at how good they were, and many of them who just heard them for the first time reacted to their other songs. They are my biggest favorite, there is so much content about them that I hardly have time for anything else. Cocona leveled up, this new look suits her very well. The fact that all the girls rapped in the new song really surprised me, but I also loved Chisa, Hinata and Juria's parts. Maya and Harvey are incredibly good and of course Jurin was also fantastic as she break in the wall in the football helmet at the beginning. The video and the music, everything was incredible. Simon's entrance at the beginning of the video was also a historic moment.
However, apart from them, there is another girl group that I am really looking forward to, if everything is true, the 1st mini-album will finally be released next Monday. And they are the Badvillain, if I saw it right, your eyes really lit up from them. Today they released a video about them, their names and some information, along with footage of their dance instructors teaching. There will be 2 more preview videos before the release on Monday. I feel like I have to learn the names of 7 more beautiful and talented girls this time, and maybe they will fit into my heart along with XG.

I agree with you. Constructive criticism is good and it may help you to improve. But some are doing the opposite which is destructive and they're just simply hating on these girls. Trying to accuse the with cultural appropriation, stealing (their covers) and trying to be kpop etc. Also, invalidating their talent & skills simply just because they didn't write their songs. Which is unfair for them, when they do work hard to improve themselves every comeback they made. Writing your own song is really great, but to force it to everybody? And use it to invalidate an artist? I think it would only cause to make artists and companies to hide and lie.

Their English is improving as they study and perform more, with the exception of Maya who was fluent coming into the project. Remeber English is their third language. In American interviews Maya is the only one to respond in English while the other speak Japanese. Also keep in mind the can also read and write in Korean, not just speak it, which they also had to learn while training in Korea. Korean is important be able to communicate with the support staff, as well as the early promotions on Korean TV shows and doing interviews. You can see them speaking Korean in their two Korean Reality TV shows XG's Three Meals A Day and X or Go. Highly recommend watching those shows. The girls are funny and you get to see how much of a family they really are including Simon

That is not true they are not K-pop they are not J Pop they are X pop! They are more of an international group they sing and rap in English, Japanese and Korean they were trained in Korea but they are Japanese they are more of an international group that means that they can play on the same field as Cardi B and they do not need Cardi B to be on a track they’re doing just fine they’re breaking records without Cardi B or any other American female rapper! They have a sold out world concert and they’re coming to the United States this summer and they are selling out their albums their merchandise and their concert tours they just started and believe me they are going to break records that even Cardi B will not be able to reach! And in my opinion as an American and also as an older American who is an OG of hip-hop they are putting to shame the Cardi B‘s and the Nicki Minaj ‘s in the rap game they are cadence and flow is so much better than either one of those two artists I just mention no hate just keeping it real and factual here because technically when was the last time that Mc Nicki Minaj and Cardi B went on a world tour!

I can explain it to you more or less, everything comes from people who do not understand or do not want to understand that music evolves, this group calls its genre Xpop because it has a mix of several genres such as Hip Hop, R&B, K-pop J-pop , and they just presented a rock version of shooting star, the majority hate them because they debuted in Korea without identifying themselves as kpop and it hurts their liver that they have Korean staff and composers and they don't want to identify themselves as kpop, I don't know if you remember a few years ago or maybe you are too young to remember it, but there in Puerto Rico a movement emerged that mixed reggae, salsa bachata and even merengue, and I don't know if he started it, but he was the one who popularized it, his stage name? Daddy Yanky, in principle no one gave a cent for that subgenre of reggae and they saw it as a variation of salsa or reggae itself, but see now where that genre is positioned, even kpopis make collaborations with them, the huiman being by nature are usually suspicious of what they do not understand, give them time and if the group does things well as they do today, surely the world will remember them in the future as the creators or innovators of a musical genre called Xpop
