Pink Floyd. Blowing people's minds since 1965.
You cannot go wrong with Floyd, if recommend, echoes live in Gdansk it's an 18 minutes roller coaster of musical heaven,, enjoy
Drugs must have been amazing then.
@@achilles8840 Back in the early 80's, my buddy Steve and I did stand up and one our routines was about Steve as a concertgoer that had too much fun:
Steve: What did we do last night?
Me: We went to a concert.
Steve: Really? Who was playing?
Me: Led Zeppelin
Steve: Were they any good?
Me: Yeah. They were great.
Steve: Did I have a good time?
@@achilles8840 damn skippy! Cheers....
EVERY song from the Pulse collection is excellent!!!
I recommend Run Like Hell from the same Pulse concert… mind blowing 🤯🎸
Spot on …I was there in 94… stunning concert.
The final song from this concert is "Run Like "Hell".
Apparently the performance got Pink Floyd into The Guiness Book of Records as utilising the most lights and lasers during a performance of one song.
It was a stunning performance ladies, trust me, I was at Earl's Court for five of the fourteen nights the band played their back in 1994.
Stunning performance!
Your so welcome imso excited you played my request I knew you'd love it, oh I wish lulu had seen this with y'all, your so welcome and thank you y'all made my day as always keep on rocking ladies 🤟
I have heard this song many times but your and your mothers reaction made it new loved it!
Thanks
Now we are talking ! Pink Floyd is my favorite band !
As you can tell in the reflection of my Sunglasses.
I have seen Pink Floyd Twice in concert, absolutely Awesome shows !!
seen Nick Masons saucerful of secrests?
@@graemerose1616 Cool.
I saw Pink Floyd back in 1987, on their " Momentary Lapse of Reason " tour.
and in 1994, on " The Division Bell " tour.
Lulu needs to see this! A great band and a great reaction!
Just a class band.Pulse is a concert .Pink Floyd take to the stage with their final live show of their 1994 Division Bell Tour for a performance of some of their greatest hits and new songs from the Division Bell album at the Earls Court Theatre in London.
I saw the momentary lapse tour, just class.
@@graemerose1616 Nice one.
P.U.L.S.E. was the name of the live CD/DVD filmed and recorded from the Division Bell tour that followed the release of the Division Bell album.
@@jimangela4589 Yes your right.
@@PeterDay81Just an FYI: Earl's Court wasn't a theatre, it was a huge venue where they held various 'events' including The Royal Tournament (and I believe The Horse of the Year Show).
That's the most animated I've seen Donna😊. They put on one of the best sound and light shows in the business.
David Gilmore playing the steel guitar without finger picks was awesome.
I was at the Knebworth concert a once in a lifetime experience.
Only thing that came close was when Jean Michele Jarre played London Docklands.
He performed on a floating stage. Had 3 world war 2 anti aircraft searchlights shining up to a height of almost a mile the beams forming a pyramid shape above the stage and played an instrument he designed a "laser harp" he wore mirrored gloves that deflected the laser beams over the heads of the audience.
Amazing performance by "The Floyd" and an equally amazing reaction!❤😊
Great reaction girls, Brits from the 70s were just phenomenal 🇬🇧
Absolutely!
Pink Floyd the Best!!!
Kudos to you ladies! I am 69 years old and have been listening to Floyd for over 50 years. I was there, it was indescribable. I am glad you two appreciate the genius that is Pink Floyd.
Three generations is an excellent concept. You are so endearing, I could hug all three of you, but I must admit Donna is absorbing.
Thank you
That by far has got to be the best reaction so far!
Thanks
Any song from the Pulse concert but check out Coming Back To Life, Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Wish You Were Here, Sorrow and High Hopes.
This song was used before Saturday Sci. Fi movies when I was still in school. I gravitated to all the music that was different from the mainstream. Pink held up to Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, etc•••
Great reaction. I enjoyed sharing with you'all.
MY FIRST FLOYD TUNE FROM 46 YEARS AGO TY!!!!! I LOVE YOU THREE LOL!!!
The 'Pulse' concert was part of their final tour back in the day. There is not a bad performance among each of the tunes. You could make a series checking out the different songs. Their music stands the test of time. They were always cutting-edge in terms of live performance since the very start. The experience is immersive.
"One of these days I'm going to cut you into little pieces" was the line.
I was so fortunate to see Pink Floyd build The Wall in 1980. Lucky as hell. I've seen some outstanding concerts - bout the only one I wish I'd had a chance to take in was Sting.
one of my mates went to that concert and he went to the hotel where PF were staying and he borrowed a full size figure (like a stuffed doll) of pink !! which was in the foyer ....he has still got it today,he even took it to Manchester a few months ago in a limo with his mates to watch Roger Waters 😂😂 ....he also went to watch Peter gabriel in Liverpool and when he done lay your hands on me and lies on top of the audience he also borrowed one of Peter's shoes he was performing I 😂, quite a character 😂,the pair of you were very lucky to go to that Wall concert 👍😎
Those two boars (pigs) are a reference to the Animals album - which is worth listening to.
When Lulu comes back, the three of you should head into a darkened room with whatever drinks/snacks you fancy and watch the ENTIRE Pulse concert on dvd in one sitting (ut the original mix, not the re-edited version). It will last for a little over 3 hours but will seem much less than that. You will not regret it - it will be better than just pulling track at random from it.
First heard this off their ~1968 "Ummagumma" double LP. Haven't heard it for years, but still remember the lyrics.
From the same Pulse collection, please check out HIGH HOPES and LEARNING TO FLY.
What is so awesome about that stage lighting is that was 30 years ago unbelievable for that time is still incredible looking today I made a delivery to Bobby Dodd Stadium here in Atlanta the day they had the stage set up and they were still setting up equipment I was around the backstage area and it was amazing how big it was and all of the equipment They carried with them on this tour
Imagine for just a minute. Pink Floyd playing live in 2024. With all the advances in sound and light technology available. I know we can only imagine it but what a show that would be.
My imaginings working overtime as I type this!
Loved it girls more from the pulse concert please 😂❤😂
4.20 One of the guitarists slips in a bar from the Doctor Who TV theme. Years later, Peter Capaldi's Doctor whistles the line 'we don't need no education' from PF Another Brick in the Wall, in the episode 'Caretaker'.
Now try Run Like Hell from this great Pulse concert. It will blow you away......
Their first set closer as they went to a quick break. Came out and did the whole DSOTM second set and three encores.
Last September, I saw The Australian Pink Floyd Show, a Pink Floyd tribute band that is perhaps the most faithful to the original band's sound.
While they were playing this song, instead of pigs, a giant kangaroo appeared on stage.
Well now you are obligated to watch Sorrow live at Pulse. The guitar will blow your mind! All hail David Gilmour!
"Comfortably numb" "Wish you were here" and Run like hell" all from this concert. You won't be disappointed .
These folks got a Gem of a show. I wish i coulda been there. Missed a chance to see 'em in Orlando. The played the show in the rain and didn't miss a beat. Had some friends that made it. Jealousy.
It just goes to show that great music does not need lyrics but every great concert needs a pig with laser eyes!🤣
MIGHTY Badass. On The Run from this show is spectacular also with the flaming plane going over the crowd and exploding at the end.
Great, great song. A masterpiece.
I got to say, your reaction to the Hogs was a mirror image of everyone at the gig and I was one of the lucky ones,
If you enjoy the lights that much, please react to the finale, RUN LIKE HELL,
And you will see how to end a gig,
30 years ago and still unsurpassed 🤟👍🇺🇸🇬🇧
I was at the last night of this show, in the balcony beside the speaker towers the pigs appeared on top of. One of These Days closed out the first half of the night before the interval. Those inflatable pigs were hyuuge. From our position we could see something being inflated in the gloom on top of the speakers, but we couldn't tell what. When the lights came up on them everyone went wild. At the end of the song, they just pushed them off the towers and let these massive inflatable pigs drop to the floor beside the stage.
Was waiting for the pigs to pop out. Loved your reaction to them. Back in the 70's for outdoor stadium shows the pigs were like big balloons. Great reaction. More Pulse....
Pulse was the name of the concert, which spawned a real cool CD box set which came with a flashing red light. It also was followed by the concert video (DVD) which you are watching.
gig was amazing. cheers for that.
Keep up the good work. I love you ladies.
Thank you so much!
Saw them perform this on their last tour in 1994 in an outdoor stadium. It was pouring rain that night, which added a nice element of sinister intensity to the pigs and their floodlit eyes. And really hope you get to the live video of "On the Turning Away" from "The Delicate Sound of Thunder"/1988 performance (that's one Lulu should see!)
Sounds like you may have been at Rice Stadium in Houston Texas for that. I was at that performance and it was absolutely incredible. Almost like Mother Nature was barging in and saying, "I want to be a part of this show too"
@@olripper2700 haha, actually it was at the now-defunct Foxboro Stadium in MA (replaced by Gillette Stadium, home of the NE Patriots)...after the band opened up with "Astronomy Domine," Gilmour said (with his dry humor) "Hullo, Sunny Foxborough!" :D I was in my senior year of college, it was either my formal senior year dance or see Pink Floyd live...the choice was clear, and absolutely no regrets. :)
do yourselves a favor and listen to the entire Pulse concert.. every song is AWESOME...
I was at the Earl's Court gig and it was an excellent show but there were loads of extra musicians on stage so it would be surprising if it didn't sound great. At the time no one was really bothered by the recordings from the show, which were only called PULSE on the cd . The consensus was that we didn't really need note perfect versions of the studio albums. TH-cam has given them a new lease of life.
Pink Floyd always puts on a GREAT stage show! Lulu would have loved this one! They are in my top 2 bands; (Led Zepplin) is the other. You should check out the rest of the concert, this was just one part of the stage show! Incredible!!
Hi dear great reaction thanks 🎉❤
Absolutely amazing! Please do more songs from the Pulse concert.
"NO WORDS NEEDED"....
It's no coincidence that this song was from their best album, made in the prime of their creativity, 'Meddle'.
Absolutely wrong. Dark Side Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Wall are all massively better. Meddle was nothing but an early preview of the greatness they WOULD become.
@@teruienages962 I've heard their albums since they came out, and I like them all. But music is more subjective than anything. Meddle has a personal effect on me that may not hit too many others the same way.
FYI - The composition is instrumental except for the spoken line from drummer Nick Mason, "One of these days, I'm going to cut you into little pieces." And that's how you make bacon.
A little true story. I was at this concert in Earls Court, London, I was seated on the right-hand side almost directly below the pig and I just happened to look up just as that thing seemed to come flying out of the wall, I nearly had a heart-attack!
Dude I’m jealous!!!!!
Was going to see it in here in California But never made it😕 The Greatest regret in life lol….. also didn’t they go like 12-14 straight Sell Out @ Earls Court there ? That place is Huge right 18-20k🤔
Awesome. Lol
I think you ladies will really enjoy 'Mother' and 'Hey You' by Pink Floyd.
Unmatched.
exellent super concert ,pink floyd is genial super band😊👍👍
They should have called this song:
"THE BEAST!"
BECAUSE IT'S IN YO FACE!!
Please give another great song by Floyd called
"One Slip" I believe you'll enjoy it!
Thanks for sharing ladies!
I watch every reaction you guys do. I listened like you do , with enthusiasm and wonder. Every genre of rock and eclectic one-offs as well. From 1965-1980 I immersed myself in those areas. FYI, check out Wishbone Ash "Midnight Dancer" (studio) and "Silver Ladies".(studio) Also Widespread Panic with "Suprise Valley". Y'all are adorable. Donna, you looked like you were partying like it was 1969.
Thank you for watching
It’s a concert film. Their 1994 tour. Pulse is the name of this performance.
Edit: “One of these days, I’m gonna cut you into little pieces….” Is what a “pig” hears.
The biggest difference from watching a Floyd video and seeing them live is you're missing out on sharing the amazing experience with 60,000-70,000 of your closest friends next to you. Cheers....
No one will ever top Floyd greatest band ever
I say this before you start watching, you may not know it but when it finishes you'll never forget it ,love watching your reactions 👍p.s I think I said on the last one it was 40 years ago ,sorry I took 10 years off our lives ,it was 30😂😂,enjoy
Pulse is the album and the name of the concert.
I enjoy watching your reactions. You need to go through the setlist on Pulse one by one, the Dark side of the moon setlist is epic. Please and thank you
Saw Pulse in El Paso!
This is from Meddle 1970 LP Echoes is the main track 23 mins long and my fav track of floyd ever . The inflatables come from a LP called Animals
The very first time I heard this was in an arcade in the 70s, no one told me the name of it or even that it WAS Pink Floyd
I've come right back I though t you might like it 😂,for a minute I thought your mum turned into Lulu with her awesomes etc...😂,for all that goes on in the video ,that bass is 👌,and even David on the slide gave the audience a couple of smirks ,its all too easy for them ...try run like hell ,its the last song of the night or sorrow or just the whole damn concert 👍👍
Awesome vid! Thank you!!!👍😎
Glad you liked it!
You guys are great!
Pink Floyd is meant to be enjoyed while on some type of psychedelic substance, of your choice, the music is so unique to them, and sets the mind into a trip... seen them 4 times in concert, so good. Floyd the pink Pig, and "when Pigs Fly".... One of these days.
Try " Pigs" of Floyd!Brilliant lyrics!
The Pig nick named Algie, was first flown over Battersea Power Station for the photo shoot for the animal's album cover and has appeared in some form or other at nearly every pink Floyd concert since., Algie escaped during the photo shoot when his mooring broke they had to warn aircraft coming into London's Heathrow airport he was recaptured in a field in Kent.
Giant Armadillos? OMG you are too cute!!!!
Hi Hot Donna, It's my fault, I should have searched before asking, Hugs Duderette.
My god , back to the future . They were 40 years ahead of their time . .
At 4:22 who recognised the Dr Who theme?
Bout time you got to the good stuff. : ) Yaayyy!!!! LuLu is gonna be sorry she missed this one. P.S. every song from their Pulse concert is as good or better than this. and they are all available including the entire concert right here on youtube.
Epic!!
comparison. first version live at Pompeii 1971 second this one , Third David Gilmour came back to Pompeii in 2016. The only person to perform in the Amphitheater twice since 70 AD. I suggest Pulse " sorrow", High Hopes" comfortably numb ' Run Like Hell" Pulse fYI; 14 days in a row sold out their last concerts. 200,000 watts of power, 128 wireless speakers, 200 ton stage 53 semis to move.
Watch Comfotably Numb and also Run Like Hell from the same Pulse concert. You’re welcome.
I would recommend The Great Gig in the Sky next.
P.S. For armadillos, you want to check out Emerson Lake & Palmer's "Tarkus" suite...haha, a piece not at all well-tailored to this reaction channel, but I would love to see the reaction on your faces while playing it! :D :D
How bout some Live Emerson Lake and Palmer… Montreux Jazz Festival 1997 Tarkus// Pictures at an Exhibition ❤️✌🏼 Knife Edge or Medley Part 2!!!! Love ya Gals…..
Favorite version of mine is from Live in Pompeii.
which one 1971 or Dave Gilmour returning in Pompeii 2016. ***********
@@jim1125-cv6yg1971. Also the versions of Echoes and Careful with that axe Eugene are both phenomenal.
@@jim1125-cv6yg 1971 for sure. Also amazing performances there of Echoes, Careful with that Axe, Eugene.
PIGS.....there Pigs ...also ...remember Pink Floyd is in quadrophonic sound meaning the sound moves around you it's in the front the back..saw it live at the Pontiac silver dome it was amazing
first track from their 1971 album meddle, although this version is more improvised then the original
Pink Floyd is an experience! Check out "Run Like Hell" / Pulse, please.
Since y’all enjoyed the “boars” so much y’all should definitely check out the album Animals by Pink Floyd. If has 3 Pigs tracks
The spoken words were recorded by Nick Mason (drummer) and played around with. The song is a bit of a dig at a BBC radio DJ Jimmy Young who used to babble a LOT 🤣🤣
Try What Do You Want From Me from David Gilmour's Live in Pompeii 2016. Another favourite Pink Floyd song 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
I should have said Pulse was the P.U.L.S.E. was the name of the live CD/DVD filmed and recorded from the Division Bell tour . Sorry. And I like how Pink Floyed inserted the Doctor Who (1963) - Original Theme music in to this song.
Epic
What happened to Lu Lu she would enjoy this one the lights and pigs she would get a kick out of it love to see her reaction
The Pulse concert
Rabbit hole this concert
Pulse is an excellent concert don't get me wrong, but personally I always preffered Delicate Sound of Thunder
Too Bad - *Must See* performance of this song was in 1971 within Italy's Pompeii ruins.
*"One of These Days - Pink Floyd - Live at Pompeii (1974 theatrical version)"*
th-cam.com/video/yw7UeEzBgOc/w-d-xo.html
*Note: features drummer due to during filming, all cameras failed but the ones focused on drums*
Pink Floyd isn't a musical experience it's a spiritual experience.
Yes it is!!!
in your own time check out theater version live at pompaii italy. really cool. excuse spelling. i was blown away. loved review.
Cool, thanks!
EPIC ❤️💯❤️💯❤️🤘🇮🇹
06:54 "One of These Days I'm going to cut you into little pieces" is probably a reference to the George Orwel's novel "Animal Farm". Pink Floyd later, recorded the "Animals" album based entirely on that novel. Maybe it was just a "warm up".
12:35 Thus the pig on the left...and on the right!
Give a try to any song from the Animals album, I would suggest, listen to the entire album...
Dear ladies recomend listen de ON THE TURNING AWAY LIVE VERSIÓN PULSE BY PINK FLOYD ITS A PERFECT LIRYCS AND GUITAR SOLO PERFECT ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
