I like Industrial music, but I've never listened to Ministry. I used to be into Classical music. Live it is great. I don't listen to it anymore. I like Johnny Cash but I think he is overrated. Buck Owens and Merle Haggard are my favorite.
I love Buck Owens. I like Waylon Jennings, too. Even older country is hit and miss with me.
I am a Ministry & NIN fan too. How can you say that you are not a classy guy while wearing that shirt? 🙂I have some Johnny Cash too. I generally do not like country music, though I do have that Patsy Cline record.
I used to have quite a collection of such classy shirts! I watched a lot of Hawaii Five-O while growing up. Neil Young and the Rolling Stones got me into some of that old country music.
Interesting choice, Mark. I'm not a huge Johnny Cash fan, though his '68 iconic live album ''At Folsom Prison'' is the first record I bought when I moved to Canada.
That's a good record! I wouldn't say I was a huge fan, either, but I do like him and he has a way of making every song his own. Thanks for coming by!

Hi Mark! I was surprised at your love for industrial music like Ministry and NIN. By the sound of things I think I’d like hanging out with you on your front porch! I’ve tried to embrace Bluegrass but it just never works for me. I love the vintage C&W stuff! Those Poor Bastards I will definitely check out.
I love Those Poor Bastards! They usually aren't a crowd-pleaser, though. Someday, we may find ourselves falling off lawn chairs together. Which reminds me, have fun at the upcoming VC meet-up!

Nice response Mark. I never would have predicted classical music was part of your musical past. Also, Jesus Christ Superstar was a mild surprise. Although it did spawn a couple of songs I remember being on the radio in the early 70s.

Hi Mark, you are not fooling me with the classical music. You are indeed sophisticated and I suspected you had some in your collection. The Bluegrass is a little bit of surprise though. I think that is one genre I sort of like as well. I was hoping you would sing a number or two from Jesus Christ superstar.

I love your shirt!!! I devour older musicals like JC Supersrar. I love many of ALWeber’s other musicals. I like earlier anime Inch Nails. I listen to classical a lot while I read. Bluegrass! Awesome. It’s funny how if we allow ourselves, we can like a variety of music. Love Patsy!! Dark Country - never heard of that.
