Mark is a true & authentic musician, an influence on many & inspire of many more.
Good to hear he's moved to the old country.
Great interview, I dig how relaxed, knowledgeable the interviews are & real questions are asked

Great to hear him talk with so much hope, but sad to know he had so much planned that will never see the light of day.

    Such a deep sad loss.
You can hear how bad covid effected his lungs and throat... so cruel.
I'm happy he was happy and prolific in Ireland.

I’m a huge fan of Mark & his death hit me hard as it did many fans, I suppose because he wrote and sang about death & what may come after it in an authentic and unique way, his work was always thought provoking.
I realized today, November 25th, is his birthday ❤ and he would’ve been 58. Tomorrow, it’ll have been exactly 3 years since I saw him live on the Somebody’s Knocking tour. Hard to make sense of these last 3 years to be honest.
So I’m thankful for having stumbled upon this brilliant interview today. Mark sounds so alive and in the throes of a particularly prolific creative streak (when was he ever not!).
It’s still hard to comprehend he’s no longer with us. I’m still discovering a lot of his work and never cease to be amazed at his work rate and the consistently high standard of work he made.
It’s nice that he found a good home in Ireland, sounds like he loved the people and the countryside down there.
I met him briefly once in November 2017 after a concert, he signed one of his books for me and the man had an other worldly, special presence. You were aware you were standing next to a true legend.
Thank you 🙏 to the team behind this interview, happy birthday 🎊 Mark and best wishes to the family and friends that will definitely be feeling his loss today especially 🙏✨🪐

The book "The Fatal Shore" that Mark was talking about was written by the late Robert Hughes.
    It is a true masterpiece.

Is that as in Robert Hughes who wrote the brilliant The Shock. If The New?? That book massively influenced me many years ago when I was studying design/ mechanical engineering at uni..a real loss to.literature that Robert died..an even bigger loss that we've lost Mark Lanegan :(

      @@sophiew1967 Yes.
