Both sections had great things going, but while listening to NSU, there were some parts were I felt that some people were not confident on the dynamics and when the next idea came in. It just sounded like they didn't have enough time to practice it. BUT if they did I think NSU would have won. BTW someone in bodacious has a terrible tone at 8:05
man its so much in our fanfare its crazy its a lot in vsu fanfare as well i feel as though each section just had an argument and was talking thru the horn take a listen to each selection played by both schools... BphiB

iono both was good but i have to give this one to nsu... they changed up their swag and still gave you that nsu bodacious bass power big ups to nsu yal got my vote.... finally got tired of vsu finessing that ass and did something about it im in shock
vsu did good but they gonna have to take a lost for the first time. nsu did better, they had more inside their fanfare. nsu gave me the chills, and i never got the chills through a computer before.
I wish people in the background would be motherlovin respectful and shut up cause just because its not the whole band or drumline you must be respectful
im currently a junior in high school and i really wanna go to vsu and be apart of horsepower if anyone has information on what i can do now to prepare for that please inform me. especially advice on loud low note and solo playing.
this battle happened some shit ago but got damn HORSEPOWER WASNT HORSEPOWER and bodacious was up there this year but too dirty at points so this is definetly a tie
Its interchangeable. I play sousaphone, I should know. You don't need to call it a sousaphone in a marching band because there's no concert tubas to distinguish it from. Tuba is a shorter word. Just because there's typically three types of saxophone in a jazz band doesn't mean you call them individually when you're referring to them, you just say saxophones.

could do with out the blasting that's not music its crap playing an instrument out of tune is garbage but i understand there are no good teachers anymore that teach how to play anymore correctly but good tone other parts some were off but good effort

Vsu tore dem up. Nsu cant play up high like horsepower and they were cleaner
